This has become one of my favorite favorite restaurants in Chattanooga. I love their bibombap bowls with dry aged Ribeye, Their kimchi, Their beef dumplings, Their Delmonico steak, Short rib marinated Galbi, Spicy pork bulgogi, Australian prawn, And all their banchan sides- Marinated Radish with Jalapeños, Beans sprouts, Zaya salad, Cucumber tomato salad, Some yummy sugar Potato and much much more their food is amazing! The meat literally melts in your mouth and they cook it right there for you at the table. Our server tonight Bryce was great very nice and Accommodating. All the stuff was great we were also there on November 11th for my husband’s birthday and our server that night and I’m sorry I can’t remember his name was excellent as well. I literally crave the food from there now!

The place looks great when you walk in. really nice décor and a clean, modern setup. The drinks were honestly the best part; the bartender was friendly, and the cocktails were excellent. Parking was also easy, which was a plus.
The problem is the price. It’s $50 per person, and you can only choose four meats with no refills. The vegetables and fruit that came with it were nowhere near enough to make it a full meal. We actually left still hungry and ended up grabbing food at a bar afterward. For the same price (or less) you can go to Iron Age or another Korean BBQ spot and get way more food.
Overall, it’s a cute place with good drinks, but it’s severely overpriced for what you get. The meats in the pic were $100, no rice included.

I’ve been to Zaya twice, and it’s always been a great experience! Last Saturday, Nicolette was our server, and she was great. She helped us navigate the menu and pick what was best for us. I had the orange fizz to drink, and it was so delicious. I would recommend the aged N.Y. Strip to anyone. Overall, it is a wonderful experience and yummy food.

We had an amazing experience at Zaya thanks to Bryce! He was incredibly attentive from start to finish and such a pleasure to talk to. He cooked everything to absolute perfection. Every dish was delicious, and he took the time to answer all of our questions with genuine enthusiasm. You can really tell he loves what he does, and it shows in both the service and the food. Bryce truly made our visit exceptional. Highly recommend!

Fantastic dining experience! The food was phenomenal and so varied; so many steak options and way more banchin than I expected! I really enjoyed watching the food be prepared right in front of us and chatting with our kind and attentive server, Bryce. The assisting server, Joseph, was sweet and very promptly filled our water and cleared the table throughout the meal. Top tier service! The dining space is pretty and I loved the live plant wall. It’s also nice to go to a restaurant downtown without having to hunt for parking blocks away. The only suggestion for improvement that I have is somehow modifying the acoustics in the dining space as I had a hard time hearing the server and my partner. Thank you for a wonderful date night, we look forward to doing it again in the future!
