- DFDoug FordDec 17, 20255.0A good friend of mine and I got together for a early Christmas dinner at the Outback Steakhouse for some delicious steaks and sides. Best choice ever! He got the highly recommended Delmonico steak stated on the menu to be well marbled, tender, and with a buttery flavor in which we totally agree. I got the chose two with a Sirloin steak and Shrimp on the Barbie with broccoli and a baked potato both perfectly cooked to satisfaction. Our waiter Vic was very patient and informative about the menu items and very professional and prompt. Lastly we had a chocolate brownie with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream topping with whipped cream! This particular Outback has a reputation for loyal patriots who know good food is to be had with every visit!

The Alice Spring Chicken is now very small and has very little taste. We both got filets and the marinade was disgusting. Even with A1 I could only eat 3 bites.

Ordered beer and the Blooming Onion as an appetizer; late lunch, early dinner - we were hungry! The ordered was missed or delayed but finally came perfectly cooked and was comped by the manager due to the delay. We did change our orders due to the time we had already waited, so we split a meal but upgraded the steak to a filet and added a side. The filet was amazing! Perfectly cooked, great seasoning. Good potato and fries. Salad was cold and good. Best bonus was the take-away option. We ordered 2 meals to-go. They were fanatic! In this economy when we are eating out much less often, this was a real treat and a great value! The Hixson location was amazing!
