We took a group of middle school children to eat lunch. We were greeted by Madeline, Daniel and Gabby. The three of them were very friendly and professional. They provided us with the best service. They listened intently to all requests and made sure we received our requests in a timely manner. I loved their interaction with the students as well. They were positive and encouraging. They worked together to bring out appetizers, main courses and desserts. Kudos on a job well done.

Overpriced for average food. Good service, though.

Food was outstanding for casual dining. Had the new honey bbq kookaburra wings and they were wonderful! Service was quick and we felt well tended to.

Tonight, my husband and I eagerly anticipated a delightful dinner at Outback Steakhouse, a venue known for its vibrant atmosphere and hearty fare. However, our experience unfolded in a manner that was deeply disappointing and troubling. Upon arrival, we checked in at the hostess station, where everything seemed in order. After a brief wait, we were seated in a small section adjacent to the entrance, which accommodates only two patrons. It was in this intimate setting that an uncomfortable series of events began to transpire. As we settled in, I noticed a male staff member approach the hostess, a young lady adorned in pink, complete with a hair bow. Their conversation quickly turned unsettling. The lady in pink began making derogatory remarks, seemingly directed at me, despite the absence of any context or provocation. With exaggerated gestures of disgust, she vocalized her disdain, proclaiming, “Ew, gross!” and mimicking the act of vomiting. To my astonishment, she further declared, “I don’t like girls. Gross. I’m not a lesbian; that’s nasty,” followed by a mocking gesture of raising her fist and uttering, “gay rights.” As someone who proudly supports the LGBTQ+ community, I found these comments not only offensive but also profoundly personal. The laughter shared between her and her colleague, alongside her repeated glances in my direction, created an atmosphere that was both hostile and alienating. My purse—a vibrant rainbow symbolizing my commitment to inclusivity—seemed to intensify her mockery. Compounding my dismay was the behavior of the other staff members, who were engaged in making up ridiculous names while answering phone calls, laughing uproariously at their own antics. This lack of professionalism further tarnished the dining experience. In light of this disgraceful conduct, I must express my unequivocal disappointment. Such behavior is not only unacceptable but also detrimental to the ethos of a welcoming dining environment. I cannot, in good conscience, return to this location of Outback Steakhouse and will seek alternatives where respect and inclusivity are prioritized. This experience serves as a stark reminder that hospitality should always embrace kindness and respect, values that were sorely lacking on this occasion. I did look for a manager. I was unable to find someone.
