At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

I ended up getting the brisket platter which came with cornbread and two sides; I chose potato salad and the infamous banana pudding. The meat was so juicy and tender! The rest of my meal was amazing as well. Whenever we come to Chattanooga, we will definitely be back!!!

We entered and were directed to look at the menu for a moment or so and then went to the counter to place an order and take a number. Food came out within 15 minutes. I ordered the burnt ends platter that comes with a side, cheese grits and cornbread. I had potato salad for my side. Everything was excellent on my plate! I even love the bbq sauce options available on the table. We also ordered the catfish plate which came with 5 medium size filets, slaw, cornbread, and 2 sides. We chose potato salad and mac and cheese for the sides. I personally don’t like vinegar chunky slaw, but my boyfriend loved it and he is more of a slaw expert than me. The Mac was excellent. The catfish had a thicker breading and my boyfriend mentioned it seemed like an alternative catfish. The seasoning was as good as others we have had. We also had a pineapple cider on tap, which was great. Overall great atmosphere and food! We will be back to try more of their BBQ variety!
