Preparer gave extra to customer in front of me but would not do the same for me when asked then slammed my food down in front of me. I knocked, someone finally came to the door and unlocked it. Didn’t say a word to me. Didn’t open the door. Just unlocked it and walked away. I went to order and they had queso sitting there with the other food, crusted over from the night before. From the night before, no doubt. There was no meat ready. I asked for steak, and they said “we’re cooking chicken right now.” I left. I went back today, again minutes after they opened, and I got the carne asada. I should have known better, because I took one look at it and I could tell it wasn’t fresh. It looked gray and dry. Sure enough, when I sat down to eat I ended up spitting out more than half of the steak because it was tough and chewy. There’s no way it was fresh. I’ve worked food service. I know it isn’t easy. But the staff seems miserable. I’ve been here a few times and it’s not typical of what I’ve come to expect at Chipotle.

I asked for Steak and the lady wanted to give me five pieces of cold steak. Then she tried to pass it off like she couldn’t understand me and give me Barbacoa. I had to tell her in Spanish that I wanted the fresh steak that was coming off the grill. Then they took forever to get back with me and had me wait all day helped everyone else. In the meantime, they’re speaking ill about me and kept looking at me and smiling, like they thought I couldn’t hear or understand them. I would not be here at all.
