Came with my dad today to honor my mom's 1 year death day and have their seafood platter she loved so much before we had somewhere to be. Tried to give us plenty of time but it took more than 40 mins before I asked whats up then told oh its still not ready. So then I said I would just pay for the 2 drinks SD had and instead of do8ng that my server started serving other tables. So we left and likely will not go back for such poor service.

I got the chicken club wrap at lunch. I am a vegetarian so I asked for no chicken and no bacon. I asked to add cucumber, onion and mushroom. She came back to table to say $5.00 to add mushrooms. I said fine but are you serious I am paying for the chicken and bacon and am not getting those. I would think the meat would be more of a cost. Waitress wasn’t great as we had to get up for refill of pop and also had to get up to ask for our bill. I was just at the Montana on 8th street last week and never had any issues. I love Montana’s but this location needs better customer service

We recently visited Montana's BBQ & Bar in Blairmore while visiting from Winnipeg, and unfortunately the experience was mixed.
We ordered for our kids from the kid's menu, the Antojitos (which was actually very delicious) and the Caesar salad. The salad itself was good, but they were very stingy with the dressing—it was barely there.
The biggest issue was the smoked brisket potato skins. The brisket was extremely overcooked—hard like charcoal—and not edible. I honestly couldn’t believe it was served that way.
To their credit, when I brought it up, they offered to remake it. The manager personally brought it out, apologized, and told us it wouldn’t be billed, which I appreciated. However, even the remake was still tough and not enjoyable.
We’ve had this same dish multiple times in Winnipeg and it’s always tender and melts in your mouth, so this was a big disappointment.
Service also needs improvement. Our server never checked in for drink refills, and we had a hard time finding her. Another server ended up helping us, and she was great.
Overall, I appreciate the manager trying to make it right, but the food quality and service consistency definitely need improvement.
