Regina is home of our beloved Saskatchewan Roughriders and many tourist attractions. All destinations are within a short distance of Original Joe’s on South Albert Street! After taking in a football game, shopping at the Golden Mile Mall or just enjoying the Queen City, a comforting OJ’s meal can satisfy all your cravings. The meal was wonderful and would have warranted five stars, were it not for Doordash messing up and refusing to take appropriate responsibility. It was my first DD order, so I was supposed to get a discount code for 40% off, which was literally the only reason I was ordering via Doordash, having heard pretty terrible things about them previously but thinking everyone deserves a chance. The discount wasn't honoured and I was offered $13 in credits as a resolution, despite my telling them that I never plan to order from them again because of all the trouble. By my calculations, 40% off my order -- before taxes and delivery and so forth -- would be around $32. I realize this is the Original Joe's review section, but I think you should know what your drivers and delivery services are doing to your customers. I don't drive, so delivery is my only option. Unfortunately I won't be ordering from Original Joe's again, after being a customer for many years in Calgary, as Doordash was my last hope for a delivery service that isn't a rip-off.

My experience, however, was simply an ordinary one—just a simple burger with above average quality. My expectations were much higher. I liked the atmosphere. I might have planned to visit again, but when the server pulled the plate away from the table in front of me while I was still eating, it completely changed my mind. I was extremely surprised, and I recommend that management pay more attention to staff training. A professional staff member should not treat customers differently. It shouldn’t matter what I ordered. I came there to have an enjoyable time, not just to eat and leave. Overall, if I want to rate the restaurant, I would give the food 3 out of 5, the customer service 1.5 out of 5 , and the atmosphere 4 out of 5.
