  Wendy's is one of those fast-food places that consistently delivers a step above the typical burger joint experience. From the moment you walk in, you can usually count on a clean dining area, organized counter service, and a menu that offers more variety than most competitors. The burgers stand out because they’re made with fresh, never frozen beef, and you can taste the difference. The Dave’s Single is a classic — juicy, well-seasoned, and stacked with crisp lettuce, tomato, and cheese that doesn’t feel thrown together. Their spicy chicken sandwich is another strong option, with a solid kick and good texture. Where Wendy’s really separates itself is the sides. The natural-cut fries with sea salt have a distinct flavor, and the baked potatoes are a unique alternative you don’t see at many fast-food chains. The Frosty is still one of the best simple desserts out there — especially when you dip your fries in it. Overall, Wendy’s balances speed, value, and quality better than most. It’s reliable whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, feeding the family, or just needing something solid on the go.

  This Wendy’s store in Yankton should shut the door and close up. Went in ordered and paid for my food then stood there patiently for 20 plus minutes waiting for my order as the counter person two managers and two cooks solely concentrated on their drive through customers instead of lobby and walk in customers. During my 20 minute wait I was asked twice by two Wendy employees , 1 who took my order if I’ve been helped .Finally asking to cancel my order and ask for my money back which the manager was very easy to do instead of satisfie customer and offer nothing not even an apologie

  Ran out of regular fries & the substitutes were greasy & tepid. The burger was cold & the bacon old. The nuggets were great & fresh & hot

  I have never waited this long for fast food, 20 minutes for food is NOT fast food
