  Always good fruit. Cashier lines could definitely be better. Either self checkout that are always busy or 1 if any regular lines.

  Should be a zero-star option. Store is a disaster. The place should be shut down. Have been complaining about consistently seeing expired items in the store and/or receiving expired items through online orders. Store management, and corporate seem not to care.

  Been coming here for years and its sad to see how bad things have gotten. Every time I come in, I hear at least 2 employees complain about how much they hate their job. There is only one register open, if not two on a good day, and the cashiers are so slow, scan the items more than they need, miss items, and talk peoples ears off while theres a line of people waiting for their groceries. I have never had the urge to use self checkout with two carts full of groceries until today. My husband is disabled, and im not going to make him stand in line for 15 minutes so we can be checked out for another 15 minutes. It should not take 30 minutes to serve a customer. We come here once a month and ever time we come it gets worse and worse. Management, please figure this out!

  Some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I placed an online order through Safeway to be delivered and it never arrived. When I called the next day to notify Safeway I was kept on hold for approximately an hour and then told there was nothing they could do and that I should call DoorDash. I told them I had ordered directly through and paid Safeway for the order, not DoorDash. I don't even have an account with DoorDash.They again told me there was nothing they could do. So basically, If you place an order for delivery from Safeway and it doesn't arrive you are just out of luck. They will not reimburse you for the order or replace it. The order was close to $100 dollars by the way. Unreal.

  I usually do drive up and go and it's always been a wonderful experience, that is until the last few weeks. Over the last several weeks I have consistently (almost weekly) had to call and be refunded for an item not received but ordered. Last week I got home to find a while bag of groceries was never received, after a nightmare of a time trying to get the refund (was told there's only 1 person who can do them and she was out sick the past 2 weeks). Then today I decided to start checking my order before I ever left.....1 item was wrong and then another bag of groceries missing AGAIN! The gal helping me was very kind and ran back in to grab them all for me, but still not to impressed with missing part of my order yet again.
