When I called the next day to notify Safeway I was kept on hold for approximately an hour and then told there was nothing they could do and that I should call DoorDash. I told them I had ordered directly through and paid Safeway for the order, not DoorDash. I don't even have an account with DoorDash.They again told me there was nothing they could do. So basically, If you place an order for delivery from Safeway and it doesn't arrive you are just out of luck. They will not reimburse you for the order or replace it. The order was close to $100 dollars by the way. Unreal.

Over the last several weeks I have consistently (almost weekly) had to call and be refunded for an item not received but ordered. Last week I got home to find a while bag of groceries was never received, after a nightmare of a time trying to get the refund (was told there's only 1 person who can do them and she was out sick the past 2 weeks). Then today I decided to start checking my order before I ever left.....1 item was wrong and then another bag of groceries missing AGAIN! The gal helping me was very kind and ran back in to grab them all for me, but still not to impressed with missing part of my order yet again.
