    When you go pick up food, and deliberately ask "is everything here?" They'll say yes, but in fact they'll just be lying and then not want to refund you so you'll have to go back.

    Why do I call and make a reset for a certain time if I show up at that said time and you put me on a waiting list? What was the point of that? We are not the only ones visually upset about this because there’s tables open!! Hard to enjoy dinner when your pissed before you get a drink.

    I want to share the details of my recent experience because it was honestly one of the most frustrating restaurant visits my wife and I have had in a long time. When we first arrived, we checked in at the front desk. The hostess asked if my wife and I would like to sit at the bar. I replied that we would prefer a table. The hostess responded with a bit of a snarl and said, “You don’t want to sit at the bar?” I again politely confirmed that we would like a table. She told us it would be about 20 minutes, which we agreed to. They took my phone number and said they would text me when the table was ready. My wife and I waited patiently for about 40 minutes. During that time, I noticed several other groups walk in and get seated almost immediately. After the extended wait, I went back to the hostess desk. By that point a different person was working there. I asked about our table and was told it should already be ready. I then asked why I hadn’t received the text message I was promised. They said the text had not been sent out but should have been. No explanation and not much concern either. At that point I was understandably frustrated after waiting twice as long as the quoted time. I asked why we were never notified as promised, and the response was essentially that they didn’t know. They simply asked if we still wanted a table. Since we had already waited so long, we agreed to take it if one was available. Once seated, things unfortunately didn’t improve much. As my wife was placing her order, the waitress stopped her in the middle of ordering before she was finished, then immediately turned to ask for my order. I had to redirect her back to my wife so she could finish what she was trying to order. I then placed my fairly simple order. Right after that the waitress quickly left, but we realized we had a third order we wanted to place to-go for our daughter at home, which we hadn’t been given the chance to order. When our drinks arrived, we placed the to-go order at that time. The food for our table actually came out in a reasonable amount of time and was good as expected, which was the one positive part of the evening. While we were sitting there, we also noticed another unfortunate situation with another group. A party of four was walked past our table twice while waiting to be seated, clearly frustrated. I overheard a few comments from them about the situation as well. Behind us, a party of five was placed in a booth where two larger gentlemen had to sit partially out into the walkway, which looked very uncomfortable and awkward. After finishing our meal, we were asked to pay, which I did promptly. We then waited for the to-go order that had already been placed and was on the bill. Another 20 minutes went by before we finally had to flag someone down and ask about it. Only then was the order promptly brought to us. By the time we finally left, the entire visit had stretched to over three hours for what should have been a simple dinner. Between the initial interaction with the hostess, the missed text notification, the extended waiting, the confusing service at the table, and the delay on the to-go order, the experience was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, after this visit, it’s safe to say we won’t be returning again.
