I watch the worker try to put on a piece of bacon; it was so old and over cooked that it just kept crumbling and he still jammed it onto my burger anyway. I said if that’s the only bacon you got I don’t want it( after I already paid for bacon). Another worker said sorry I wanted to make more but they said no. The first worker tried picking off the bacon and just threw it away. He was getting off and left my pattys on the grill, which got overcooked and dried out. Between the not properly cooked fries, over cooked burger and old crumbled bacon it was by far the worst 5 guys experience I’ve ever had.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
