  Having dinner at this establishment is nothing short of an experience. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted a thoughtful and detailed crew. We were sat and took in the ambiance. Modern, thoughtfully designed, With the heart of South Dakota in mind. It feels like a warm cabin. What truly sets this restaurant apart for me was the devotion to South Dakota’s culinary roots. Rivage Oak has locally sourced ingredients. Very well described on the menu. They are crafted with an artistic flair that’s both imaginative but familiar.The menu features an selection of high-end creations, including venison, perfectly aged steaks, tender chicken, and our South Dakota’s own pheasant. The great thing is they made sure to include good old-fashioned home cooked food for people of any taste. For those seeking a great nightout with you and yours. This is your place. We will be coming back. Often.

  Great server, she was almost apologetic, for the food, which was odd. Almost as if she had heard the negatives before. Plating was artful, service was efficient atmosphere beautiful. Flavors were benign. Food lacked love, seasoning and flavor. Sad to say, we will not likely be back.

  Wonderful dining experience! Enjoyed a short visit with Chef Robert about the restaurant and all the locally sourced ingredients. Will definitely come back to try more of his fantastic dishes!

  Hey SF, get out and support ROK! Innovative and truly delicious menu, great drinks and a perfect spot to get together with friends. They are doing great things. The steaks, chops and desserts were fantastic.

  Every part of the night was perfect. The hostess was welcoming and seated us immediately. Our waitress came right away and took our drink orders. We also ordered Walleye cakes for an appetizer. She told us that would have been her recommendation. There is a full bar and included non-alcoholic cocktails. We had Lamb Bolognese and Smoked Salmon. Both were incredible! The salmon was served on a smoked Cedar plank and paired with mushroom faro and brocolini. The lamb bolognese included house made pasta. Both dishes had amazing flavor profiles that kept getting better with every bite. Our only disappoint was the fact that we were full and couldn't try a dessert. We will be back again and again until we're can try everything on the menu. This is a must try restaurant and you will not be disappointed.
