After waiting for 20 min, I went up to the kitchen and there our meals sat. No one had called our names. Our soup was not hot. Not sure why they ask for your name when they are not going to call it. When I walked into the entryway, there was a very unpleasant, unappetizing odor that was immediately off-putting. It definitely didn’t set the right tone. Picking up my pastry was straightforward, but no staff member greeted me or spoke to me at all, which added to the underwhelming feeling. Unfortunately, the pastry itself was dried out and the flavor just seemed off. I’m glad I had a discount, because I would’ve been even more disappointed if I had paid full price. I’ve found myself consistently underwhelmed by Panera Bread lately—they’re definitely not what they used to be.
