  Been here a few times and regret it each time. Last time they forgot an item, this time I dined in with the wife and it was worse. Ordered simple bagles, requested cut in half. They weren't cut. No biggie, but not a tall ask. They gave us butter knives so we haphazardly sawed our bagels in half. The bagels were good. Trying to find a clean table was hard. Every table was dirty. There was only one other person dining in, and not a lot of folks in and out for togo orders, so it is not like they were dealing with a rush. I ended up cleaning one myself. My wife noticed that the bench seats behind where we were had loads of old food, dirt, and debris under them. This place probably hasn't been cleaned in a few weeks, at the very least. Staff was friendly when they spoke to us, but be prepared to use the kiosk to order your food yourself if you do not want to wait 5 minutes to be noticed at the front counter. Probably our last time here.

  I love Panera Bread and I’m usually very happy with everything, however tonight I bought a bowl of the Street Corn Chowder and did not get the tortilla chips. I knew before I started eating it that it wasn’t going to taste as good and I was right, it wasn’t anywhere near as good as it is with the chips. At lunch today I bought a salad and asked for chips and don’t get them. Someone must be having a bad day.

  This was my second visit in two days — I had enjoyed the cream of chicken and wild rice soup so much that I came back for more, this time as a to-go order. When I got home, I opened my bag to find chicken noodle soup instead. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not what I ordered at all. After this experience, I went and read other reviews — and apparently this is not the first time this has happened. Getting orders wrong seems to be a recurring issue here, and that’s a problem that should have been addressed by now. I used to love Panera when I lived in Arizona, so this is genuinely disappointing. But at this point, it’s just not worth going back. Something needs to change.

  My fresh loaf of bread was picked of the shelf, sliced, and placed in the plastic bag. All performed with no food handing gloves by the associate. I think it tasted like money also.

  For the last three times I have been to Panera in Rapid City. The service has been terrible. My husband and I went to the drive-through. We are halfway home and we opened the bag and realized that we had someone else’s order. I called spoke with the manager she said that was the fourth time that day that had happened. She would email me some coupons which she never did the second time my husband and and I were there for lunch and I ordered a bowl of soup and it was cold. I took it up to the window and I said this is cold. Could you warm it up and he replies there’s a microwave under the coffee Machines. The last time I was there three days ago I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. I got my bagel and coffee went out to the car opened it up and there was no cream cheese. I went back inside to the window and and I said I ordered cream cheese and the girl said very rudely. rudely. It wasn’t on the ticket. I said well I’ll go to the front cashier because she was struggling as she took my order. Maybe she didn’t put it on there. I’ll gladly pay for it and she handed me a thing of cream cheese no apology no nothing. I don’t think I’ll be back.
