Ian B was our waiter. He got the order correct, he was friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We have had this young man before while dining at outback, and he always delivers the same great service. He gets five stars out of five!

I stopped in last night and had an amazing meal and great conversation with the bartender. I'm a fairly health conscious eater, and I made the pork chops without the glaze and everything was absolutely amazing.

Its been a while since I had been to outback and I decided to order togo tonight. We did the family meal and it did not disappoint. The steaks were super tender the side were all delicious and the salad was great. Just wish we would have gotten more than one loaf of bread.

This is our Go-To steak house in rapid. They are constantly better then Texas roadhouse (we still love Texas roadhouse as well) but the steaks and flavor is consistent. The service sucks but it isnt because of the servers. The servers are great but they are understaffed it seems like. There are way more high end steakhouses in rapid but none are even close to the experience we get here. PLEASE ORDER THE NEXT LEVEL HIGHER THEN YOU WOULD NORMALLY. I eat medium rare steaks but due to thickness of these, they come out rare in the middle. I order medium now and it is always a perfect medium rare.

Outback has really slipped—or at least the Rapid City location has officially lost the trail. Our waiter was clearly greener than a side of steamed broccoli. When I asked about local beers, he seemed to think "local" was a synonym for "draft." I wasn't looking for a geography lesson, just a pint. His attentiveness was similarly MIA. We finished our appetizers and I eventually had to relocate our dirty plates to the empty table next to us just to see my own lap again. He walked by them multiple times like they were part of the decor. Then, there was the food: The Bloomin’ Onion: Less "blooming," more "drowning." It was so oil-soaked it felt like they’d plucked it straight from the fryer and tossed it onto the plate without a second thought. The Main Event: The burgers were "mid" at best. The Great Fry Famine: I’ve seen more fries in a McDonald’s Happy Meal. The portion sizes have shrunk so much I thought they’d accidentally served us from the toddler menu. We won’t be back. If I wanted a greasy onion and an absentee waiter, I could’ve stayed home and saved the tip.
