- SEShawn Ed.Dec 30, 20251.0Very unfortunate to share this as I am a frequent customer at all Tropical Smoothies, I am not from this area I am from the North East side so I usually go to the TS on Clemson Road where the associates there are Top Tier but this past weekend while shopping at TMobile after waiting 3 hours to get my new iPhone I came into this location in West Columbia across from the ChickfilA where I encountered the worst customer service I’ve ever received the name on my drink said the servers name is Laela or Leala B. You ever went inside an establishment was not greeted, and made to feel like you ruined someone’s day you never met?? I came in with my 2 year old daughter she stared at us for like 10 seconds then walked over no greeting just looked like we completely ruined her day because we came in … it’s mid day no customers in there, I was so confused. I didn’t say anything to her just kept it short asked for my drink so I could quickly leave because that’s how uncomfortable I felt. I didn’t even trust her to make my drink I stayed close to the counter and just watched because I’m like ‘oh no I don’t want her to do something to my drink because she’s clearly upset we came in here” this is unprofessional and bad for business please hire ppl that like to work. Making smoothies is not hard & Most TS locations are always a happy atmosphere she’s scary & needs to find a job she will be happy to work. This does not reflect the business just a worker that does not like to work. Sorry

With only 30 minutes between leaving work and VBS, I thought of the Tropical Smoothie app and downloaded it. I was able to order and pay from work, set a pickup time, and have the smoothie ready to take way as soon as I walked in. Great Job, Tropical Smoothie Cafe!
