  The food was fantastic with big portions. Thought was a bit high until we saw all the food. Service was good, very clean inside and out. Definitely will go there again

  Maverick Biscuit: The Best Coffee, Biscuits, and Service in Taylor's! 🤩 I recently stumbled upon Maverick Biscuit in Taylor's, SC on 11/30/2025 and I have to say, this place is an absolute gem that everyone needs to experience. 🥰 It’s more than just a breakfast spot; it’s a genuine feel-good experience wrapped up in hot coffee and delicious food. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and bright. The service, however, is what truly sets this establishment apart. I had the pleasure of being served by Chantelle, a young lady who took my order with such genuine warmth and efficiency. She was incredibly sweet, and I can honestly say her smile alone is enough to brighten anyone’s day. It’s rare to encounter that level of delightful service, and it made my morning instantly better. Now, onto the food and drink! Everything served was piping hot and tasted absolutely delicious. I ordered a standard coffee, and I was genuinely shocked—it was, without a doubt, some of the best coffee I have ever had. Rich, perfectly brewed, and exactly what I needed. ☕️ The star of the show, however, might just be the incredible sides. The biscuits themselves were fluffy perfection, but when paired with the house-made peach jam, they transform into something truly unforgettable. That jam is seriously "to die for"—sweet, tangy, and bursting with fresh peach flavor. If you’re looking for fantastic food, phenomenal coffee, and service from people like Chantelle who clearly love what they do, you must visit Maverick Biscuit. Five stars aren't enough! 🤩

  Few options in how you want your eggs, said 3 eggs but portion looked small, portion of potatoes even smaller. I couldn't find and actual pieces of chorizo in my eggs. Only thing of good size was the biscuit and I'm not a fan. The coffee was luke warm. For nearly $40 for two you think they could come to your table and take your order. I think I'll stick to Denny's at least I can get what I want the way I want it.

  Unfortunately I hate that I have to write such a negative review. The primary reason I ordered delivery from here was because I love their grits. Hands down in my opinion, the best grits ever. However, I did not receive the grits I ordered from Uber Eats. Yes it was taken off my overall bill and I am thankful for that. The rest of the meal I received was not good at all. The omelette was not good. The biscuit was dry and the gravy was awful. I use to have the issue of ordering grits and only receiving a few tablespoons of grits as a side order. This is not the first time I’ve ran into this same exact issue at another location as well. It will be awhile before I waste my money on breakfast at this establishment.

  Hands down the best meal we’ve had in ages. Not only was the food scrumptious, we were immediately greeted with smiling and kind faces upon entering… it made us feel like we were wanted there. Chantel was so friendly and made the entire experience warm, welcoming, and unforgettable. I ordered the Fried Green Grits — creamy grits topped with fried green tomatoes and red pepper jelly — and found myself still savoring every bite halfway through the plate. This is the kind of food you dream about. The people in the kitchen absolutely know what they are doing and understand the idea that a way to someone’s heart is through their stomach. We will 100% be back VERY soon.
