  For a salad with only lettuce, cucumbers and cheese, the price was too much. Also, didn’t have chili or no feta.

  Had a wonderful experience today. I was in with my 2 year old. It was nap time for him and he was letting everyone know. The staff were so friendly. In fact the lady working in the back checked us out and said “just so you know you are doing a good job, he’s fine and yall are welcome here anytime”. I am a single mom so this literally brought me to tears. Gods timing! Such a wonderful experience and I just really needed her smile and positivity today. The food was wonderful as always.

  First time eating at Groucho's in Spartanburg. Honestly, I just wasn't impressed. There are many other better sandwich choices for a similar price range. I ordered the STP Dipper using their website for pickup. I live close by, near town. Luckily found a parking space within a block of the location. I can see finding a reasonably close parking space to pick up an order could be an issue. I was greeted when I came in and told my order was coming up soon. The wait was reasonable, as I was a few minutes early from the specified pickup time. I was surprised to see the microwave being used as a means to heat the sandwiches. This will become more relevant when I get home. Received the order and drove home. Maybe 15 minutes from leaving Groucho's with the order to my home. Opening the clamshell container, the sandwich looks like a heap of meat stuffed into a small sub roll about 6 inches in length, with a melted pile of cheese laying on the top of the meat. The roll is too small and does a poor job holding the contents. Sandwich bread would be a better choice for this arrangement. The sandwich consists of roast beef, turkey, bacon crumbles and cheese. First bite, and I remembered why I took notice of the microwave being used to heat the sandwich. A microwave can ruin bread, especially if it's not fresh bread. The roll was like leather, and I was barely able to rip a chunk off, thus spilling the meat and cheese over my plate. I picked up what had fallen from the bite and the turkey was mushy, the roast beef was thick and chewy. The flavor was good. The bacon added a lot to the sandwich. Second bite I was able to dip the sandwich in their "42" sauce. Also, a good flavor. The components of the sandwich are great choices, just maybe the execution of the recipe wasn't done well this time. I will try Groucho's in Spartanburg again at some point. Maybe eating at the location would be a better experience. The staff seemed friendly, and the place had some atmosphere/charm.

  Okay my husband went in to buy me a thing of pickles because I’m pregnant and deli sandwich pickles sounded so good and the guy behind the counter absolutely hooked me up! 10/10 will be back. 🥒💕

  Today was my first time going into Groucho's and I enjoyed it. The man behind the counter was friendly and let me know what my options were. I will definitely be going back. 10 outta 10 will get again.
