Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported slow service, especially during night shifts, with long wait times for food and orders being incorrect.
Food Quality
While many customers praised the food as delicious and fresh, there were complaints about cold or improperly prepared items.
Customer Service
Mixed feedback on customer service; some employees were noted for being friendly and helpful, while others were described as rude or indifferent.
Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the restaurant was inconsistent, with some reviews highlighting clean conditions while others reported dirty restrooms and dining areas.

I love whataburger and one of the reasons why is simply because of this one store. The workers in there are amazing. There was a worker named zay and he was amazing. He made sure to check on us and even convinced us enough to do a review. If you love whataburger, I suggest that you go to this one.

i had a great experience at Whataburger thanks to travis. from the moment i walked in, he was friendly and welcoming. he made sure my order was correct, answered my questions patiently, and kept a positive attitude even during a busy rush. my food came out fresh and exactly how i ordered it, and travis even checked to make sure everything was good before i left. employees like him make a big difference. Whataburger is lucky to have travis on their team!

Self-service kiosk took our order and then refused to take payment. Human cashier said "Oh. Yeah." No help whatsoever with the kiosk, but did take our order pleasantly, which took FOREVER to come out, but at least was hot when it did. Napkin holder was out of napkins. Sweet tea was unbelievably sweet (and I am a sweet tea girl.) Good music.

Drive-Thru Dereliction!
I normally leave verbose reviews. Not for this one. Straight to the point.
Food was perfect and hot. When I got it. 45 minutes after I placed my order. In the drive thru.
Every customer had been advised to park. Customers were being served one at a time, every 10 minutes. Even with two employees working, this boggles the mind.
I'm from Texas. I'm a long time Whataburger customer. This was awful. Unthinkable. Do better.

Im an avid customer at whataburger, but i usually go to a different location. This one, however, usually gives me problems with wait time. Dine-in is usually standard time, but everything else usually seems second priority. We got our order and drinks at 10:05, but we didnt receive the rest of our order until 10:30. At first, they seemed to be priortizing the dine-in orders (which is understandable). But a line started to form behind us and only one car next to us got their order. All the workers seemed to be distracted, at one point they took a group picture before they finally got us our order. The lady that served us was nice and apologetic, but the trip was not worth $28 and a 25 minute wait. We expected some sort of explanation or compensation, but nothing. The food was good, except the fries were already half soggy and some were grease burned.
