Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- BBBrenda6 days ago5.0I am from Texas this is the best hamburger you will ever eat and they're just as close to Texas style as they can be very good and the staff there at the Duncan area on 290 super the only thing I can complain about is in the beginning they had the banana pudding shake that was the best shake I have ever had in my life they should keep it on the menu otherwise if you want a good hamburger I'm from Texas been here 16 years what's was so excited that Spartanburg gets to experience the best burger I've actually been to three of them and they were great but 290 try them they're super quick to respond Andrea sweethearts and that manager cares sincerely BH try it you won't be disappointed if you are you don't have good taste 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😄 I both dine-in mostly takeout if you don't need it that night put it in the refrigerator and it's just as good the next day nuke it in the microwave a few seconds Yamm my mouth is watering right now I think I'll go to Whataburger 👍😊

In some type of way, missing condiments or toppings. Or coffees only being filled up half way. I swear I can’t make this up. And the employees, will just look at you like it’s your problem and shut the window in ur face. But when you try to go inside to see if that will help, it takes forever when the dining room is empty. All to still have your order wrong. And be careful going into the bathrooms, because there will be no wet floor sign. And it is soaking wet. My mother took a fall coming out of their bathroom. I love whattaburger bc their food is great, but at this location service is absolutely awful. I try and try to give this place another chance from time to time because of deals on the app. But it just never seems to go right.

The two ladies that were “running” the place, seem irritated whenever they have to help a customer, like I paid for tea, no tea in the lobby so had to wait for the staff member again. I go to eat one of my biscuits..MOLD AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BREAD!!! I mean all they had to do was flip the bread over to double check it..and no the bread isn’t burnt, that is MOLD!

One person was wondering the dinning area high as a kite. We asked him twice for mustard and never got it until we were done. Finally someone else delivering food got us some. Two employees were in the parking lot talking the for 20 minutes while others delivered food past them. One of the two bathrooms was locked the entire time. The dinning area is also the smallest I've ever seen for a whatabuger. It was either 9 or 12 tables total.
