We called ahead three hours and arrived early, yet ended up waiting over an hour past our quoted time to be seated. Two larger groups who arrived after us were seated first, and we overheard the host admit he had messed up. While waiting, one waitress spent nearly an hour chatting with friends at a nearby table instead of helping, even though the restaurant was clearly busy. Once seated, service started off disorganized—several servers came and went before we had a consistent one—but our final waitress was great and the food was delicious. Still, the long, confusing wait was frustrating, especially with a 1-year-old who stayed out past his bedtime.
