I ordered a steak gordita they charge me a dollar extra for steak, which is OK I don’t mind paying the extra dollar ,the problem is they did not put any meat they put extra beans. I’m very disappointed.

Tried to go here recently. The place was hot, dark, & didn't seem like anyone had been cooking all day. When i tried to order the person at the cash register seemed super aggravated. I tried to order a #2. He seemed super confused and had to walk around and look at the menu. Every question I responded to was met with frustration & lack of desire to provide service. Eventually I just said screw it and left. The person taking the orders should at least be somewhat familiar with the menu and show just a little interest in providing service to paying customers. As someone new to Roebuck & trying to find someone new places to eat, this was not a good first impression. The store was empty, no lights, no air conditiong, and appeared there hasn't been much business. Providing the bare minimum customer service might bring in enough business to keep the electricity on. Won't be back!

Definitely not the same anymore. Went last night. The bean dip tasted scorched, my birria tacos tasted old which in turn caused me to take one bite. I get the same thing every time I go, but this time was not right at all. The cashier replaced it with two ground beef tacos (corn tortillas), but at that point I was done. Things have definitely changed. Ughhh. So disappointing 😞

Food was $19.00 for a steak chicken shrimp tex mex waited almost my wntire break to get my food clock back in from work late then i said extra rice only got a small portion of rice they always have a different cook

Update: app would not let me do another review. Thank you Val for taking care of us. I went back today 01/14/26, and I was taken care of. Uncle Berto's is one of my and my husband favorite restaurant. I'm happy you went out your way to take care of us when you didn't have to. Again thank you. We will be returning and letting everyone know you really take care of your customers. We do appreciate it. ❤️ I am so disappointed, I went to there today got 2 super burritos got home and half of the ingredients of the burritos were missing. No refried beans, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce. I got a small amount of meat, rice and some cheese, onions and cilantro. The prepares they had today need to be trained better. This is the 1st time I've been disappointed with this restaurant. When I pay $32. and some change for 2 super burritos I expect to get what I pay for. Not a taco bell burritos. Same on y'all.
