  I have over 300 points at Dutch Bros currently. I stick with the exact same drink every single time. I arrive today and there is someone being trained no big deal, The trainer wasn’t helping the girl at all, she was so lost and confused i told her my order ( read directly from the mobile app) On the app the drink i get EVERY SINGLE TIME gets boba ( featured or not the app says boba it’s the POPPING FIRE LIZARD!!!) the girl was so confused and with no help she obviously didn’t put the correct thing. We get to the window and we see our drinks are a whole different color, no boba. So we ask the window if we got get boba because it always gets it. The color was off and also no boba. We’re told it’s an up charge when though it’s in the drink name and always comes in the drink. So we left with boba we had to pay a upcharge for and the drink doesn’t even taste correct. No one seemed to understand the issue and the window wouldn’t read back my order.

  This would’ve been our 2nd visit to this newly opened Dutch Bros but we couldn’t even get in line?! The cop directing traffic (yes, it’s that busy there) waved us to keep going on the main road so we had to drive by it. The only way to access the entry was to sit in a 15 car line in middle median and wait to cross 3 extremely busy traffic lanes and also hope for an opening in the 2 traffic lines formed at the Dutch Bros itself that back up to the busy roadway and if you make it to that point it’s then another 12 cars+ wait to get to the window. Our first visit we experienced 1/2 hour wait til getting our order. Just not worth this experience. It also takes us 30 minutes just to get here from Waxhaw, NC area. Someone did not plan location well sadly and what happens when cops can’t direct the traffic anymore?!

  I was not impressed with Dutch Bros Coffee during my visit. I had to repeat my order several times, and the young lady taking my order still got it confused. I specifically asked for chocolate, but she somehow mixed it up with caramel. I also made it clear that I did not want any dairy in my drink because I am lactose intolerant, yet she asked if I wanted milk or cream. It seemed like she was a bit lost and unsure about her job responsibilities. When I finally reached the window to pick up my order, the young lady working there had a very fake smile, making it seem like she was putting on an act. It felt somewhat condescending. She did confirm my drink order, which I appreciated, especially since it was very busy, and I understand the importance of ensuring that the order is correct. This was my third visit to this location, and honestly, the staff needs to improve their listening and comprehension skills. Perhaps taking out their earbuds while working would help a great deal. I have a feeling this review will be ignored or dismissed with a generic response directing me to a link or suggesting I message someone else to provide feedback. It’s clear they tend to overlook negative reviews.

  Ok - here’s the deal. Came today (Wednesday) apparently the week of opening at 2pm. Silly me, of course there’s a line down the street! Google Maps says I started in line 400ft from the turn in. By my count, roughly 17 cars can be in line just within the parking lot (not counting those lined in the street) split between the 2 drive thru lines that merge into 1. My toddlers are napping in the car, I already drove 35 min here to see the hype, so why not? *only* 30 min in line and I say that as a good thing because wow they move quick. I was probably at least 40th in line when I got there and can’t believe how fast they cranked out drinks. Police were there helping to conduct traffic, overall flowing very smoothly. The drink - I tried an iced golden eagle with soft top. YUM. But helllllooooooo, “breve” is half and half, you guys!! This is a calorie packed latte! Delicious, but at least 600cal and 39g of sugar from what I could find online. Delish, but just know what you’re drinking! I’d definitely be looking for some lower cal drinks if this was a regular stop for me. I didn’t see it advertised or asked but assume you can just have it made with whole milk to drop some of the calories. Employees were SOOO friendly. If you don’t know what to order, I’m sure they’d be happy to guide you and make suggestions. Wish they were closer to me, I’d def be back!
