  I come by every single day and today, April 12th was by far one of my worst experiences. As I pulled into the drive through, I initially greeted first, I then heard yelling and screaming all over the intercom and Mel the cashier who was taking my order was so unprofessional and was trying different accents when I was simply trying to get my smoothie and carry on with my day. I then got to the window with her continuing to just scream and laugh and act totally different and unprofessional than any employee I have ever encountered with. I raised my voice and asked her why was she yelling and was expressing how that was so uncalled for. Ava then stepped in and just held out the card reader waiting for me to pay, I had my phone set up with my Tropic app waiting to be scanned, and she proceeds to tell me “I should have made it more clear” that I was trying to use my app. She then scans my app while not paying attention, and then had to scan it again due to her lack of focus. While I was tapping my phone on the card reader after finally being able to pay, she suggested to Mel that she try a “British” voice. Overall, I think that was just bad customer service and someone who works in customer service as well and I hope their can be more structure later on in the day because I know I am not the only who who she was unprofessional to.

  I love this place. The food is always fresh and the crew provides great service. On my birthday they wrote a personal wish on my smoothie cup. Consider me a regular! ✨

  I am a Tropical Smoothie member and come to Tropical Smoothie Cafe almost every day, sometimes even twice a day, between this location and the one on Pelham Road. I usually come in the mornings, and this was my first time coming at night. Unfortunately, the experience with the night shift was very disappointing. The employees were rude and seemed more focused on talking among themselves than helping customers. At one point, I even noticed an employee touching their hair and not washing their hands afterward before preparing drinks, which is very concerning. The smoothies also were not made correctly. My daughter’s smoothie did not taste anything like it normally should. They attempted to remake it, but it was still horrible, so we ended up asking for a refund. At that point it felt like we pretty much wasted our money and time. I will say the general manager was very nice, but the night shift staff really needs better training in customer service, professionalism, and food safety. As someone who comes here regularly and supports this business, this experience was very disappointing.
