The cashier came off as dismissive and unwelcoming, and the interaction felt discriminatory. She made no acknowledgment of me whatsoever—no greeting, no eye contact, no communication during my transaction. What made it even more upsetting was that she had an effortless, friendly conversation with the customer before me. During my checkout, she remained completely silent and disengaged. Then, while I was still standing directly in front of her, she began a full-blown conversation with the customer behind me. This behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional. Every customer deserves basic courtesy and acknowledgment. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and it has seriously impacted my view of this store. I will never patronize this store or Food Lion again.
