Stopped by the Crooked Hammock while wandering Myrtle Beach and instantly got the vibe: laid-back, slightly off-beat, and exactly what you need after any day. The outdoor space is huge and welcoming, with hammocks everywhere — including that one gloriously crooked hammock that somehow makes lounging even more fun.
Drinks are refreshing (try the Sway Hazy IPA on tap or one of their frozen concoctions 🍹), and the food hits that sweet spot between gourmet and “I just want something good after walking all day.”Service was cheerful and helpful, which kept the good vibes rolling.
Whether you’re resting in that legendary crooked hammock or just soaking in the relaxed atmosphere, it feels like Myrtle Beach energy distilled into one fun, unpretentious spot.

If I came with adults, I would have given it a 5. However, $4.25 for a kids drink is horrific in addition to the $10 fee for the kids meal. It is the same price as an adult soda for my 3 yr old and I had 3 children. I asked if they could do.chips and cheese sauce for the kids, and they said sure. What they left out was that they would charge $13 for an avocado dip when we just got melted cheese. This is not family priced.and that is sad!

Had intended to come here with 10 people to have drinks and food and enjoy the football game. However, we were told that my two daughters legal IDs were not valid per company rules. On top of it the bartender told us that if you were responsible individuals, you would have gotten new IDs that were not vertical. By Pennsylvania state law it is a valid legal ID. So we took our business to Landshark. The service and food and DRINKS were amazing.

Crooked Hammock no longer accepts VALID, UNEXPIRED, 21+ ID’s if they are vertical. I’m a visitor from out of state and was recommended this restaurant by many people. I am of legal age and have been for several years AND my vertical license is still valid from my home state. The bartender denied me and another person in my party who is also of age with a valid vertical license because of their “new policy.” She had the audacity to say to our faces, “if you are responsible enough to drink, then you are responsible enough to get a new ID when you turned 21.” Why would anyone go to pay EXTRA to get a brand new ID when it’s still legal and valid and nearly all other restaurants and states accept a VALID vertical ID?! We took our business (party of 11) to another restaurant at Barefoot Landing. Thank you Landshark Bar and Grill for your hospitality after a disappointing experience at Crooked Hammock.

Stopped in at Cooked Hammock and everything we ordered was a hit. The Longboard Nachos were loaded and tasty, and I loved having all the sauces on the side—jalapeño cheese, roja, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle crema. The kid’s chicken breast meal was fresh and the sides were great.
The chargrilled salmon salad was honestly the best salmon salad I’ve had at a restaurant. Super hearty and full of flavor. The Yuletide Burger was on point too—perfectly cooked and really delicious.
