Partner accused of stealing. Not sure if its her appearance. A younger male, taller, with glasses and short hair said "we were dipping into the lemonade" with our water cups. They laughed in the back loudly so I protested and confronted the employee about it. Without any room to hear that we were not stealing lemonade he outright refused to accept it and cut off my words with "No. No. I saw you. You dipped into the lemonade." Then another employee, a female, said "It's not worth it, it's nust lemonade. Sir, have a good day."
It is extremely dehumanizing and humiliating to be accused of something so petty like stealing lemonade in a water cup. I am a paying customer and I am more conscious about not making an already bad fast food sandwich worse by drinking sugar water with it.
As a business owner I would have reprimanded or terminated my employees for speaking to clients that way. Loud accusations in public places and harsh almost contempful doubling down when one tries to speak their case. This was embarrassing and quite sad. I told my significant other to "give subway a chance." And then they do this. So, there you have it, its why no one goes to subway.
Oh, and they drowned the sandwhices in mayonnaise and threw the meat and vegetables just sort of wantonly. Sad man. I'm from Bridgeport, CT, the birthplace of Subway and I even went to the same high school, so I should be proud. I am not. Subway is a shell of its former self.

Got there around 1:15 and I was greeted with a line no buggy we know rushes come and go but there was only 1 person working in the front doing all the sandwiches from online and walk-in s . I’ve seen multiple people walk out due to only 1 person working up front about (6) all together. Me and other multiple customers saw that there was another employee in the back , I get it you have things to be put up but I’ve also worked in the food industry for 10 yrs. And me and my team always say aces in your places until the rush is over it doesn’t matter what has to be put up in that moment . In that moment the customers matter and making sure that they are satisfied and once everyone is gone and things goes down that’s when you start to clean up and put things up not in the middle of the rush . Props. Go out to the lady for dealing with the rush by her self . All the other employee did was came from the back to the front to get a drink and we all thought once he saw how many people that were in the lobby he would
Come help but did he NOPE!
