The restaurant was clean, but when I first entered the hostess, although not busy, didn’t actually acknowledge me for about a minute. I had wonderful service from my server, named Divinity and she was friendly, responsive to my needs, and when I made a special request, she said no problem. She also was very attentive, engaging, and efficient with drinks and food. I ordered a blackened mahi instead of woodfired, I wanted it pan seared and it was tasty, but one of the pieces was actually overcooked. It was paired up with my request for asparagus, and I absolutely loved it because they were the baby spinach and very tender. The side salad was fresh, but they put water chestnuts on it, which seemed a little strange to me. Overall, the experience was wonderful.

Very disappointed as in general, we like Bonefish Grill. But the food was not good at this location at this time. My wife had the sirloin and lobster tail and neither was good. The steak was overcooked and it was very tough for a pretty expensive steak. Not as good as the steak I buy at the grocery store. The lobster tail wasn't good either. I had the shrimp and scallops and they were pretty good as was the jasmine rice. The brussel sprouts weren't very good and that was disappointing as last time I had them at a Bonefish Grill (in Atlanta), they were amazing. The meal was ok......, but we paid for better than ok (about $130). The waitress was good. The background music was way too loud which made it difficult for us to have a conversation.

This is one of our favorite restaurants that we visit for dinner especially before attending entertainment and music shows . Today, however, we stopped for lunch that they just started about four months ago according to the server/Bartender. My wife had Baha fish tacos and were delicious. I had Cod fish and chips. They were crisp but oily. The long piece of cod was rolled in thick batter and did absorb some oil. See attached photos. We both had salads with house Italian dressing. The salad was very good that included crisp lettuce, mixed greens, cherry tomato, heart of palm, and pumpkin seeds. I enjoyed it very much along with chabatha bread with olive oil and minced herbs. By the way bathrooms were very clean.

The side of rice was way too dry which took away from the appeal of the otherwise ok salmon dinner with broccoli. The portion size was ok but could have gone further. They did include bread, though.
Service was poor, however, because we told our waitress upon our arrival that we needed to expedite our checkout afterwards because of a local show and, and she acknowledged that, but failed to help us when that time came.
On ok place if you good with ok, but it could have been much better with a little more oversight to details.

I stopped by the Bonefish Grill in North Charleston recently and walked away with a mixed impression. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a nice choice for a casual night out or a simple dinner date. The staff was friendly and professional, and service felt unhurried in a good way.
For starters, the Blackened Chicken Egg Rolls were flavorful and generously filled, though the sauces didn’t quite complement the dish as well as something more tangy or salsa‑based might have. The lobster ravioli had great seasoning but felt a bit thin and lightly filled, which made the portion less satisfying than expected. My entrée—the grouper paired with a crab cake—was a combination of highs and lows. The grouper and asparagus were excellent, but the crab cake didn’t stand out, and the rice was noticeably undercooked.
On the bright side, the cocktails and mocktails were well-crafted and tasted fresh, which added a nice touch to the overall experience.
