Every time I come here, the quality of the food seems to decline, and I’m writing this in hopes of getting the attention of the owner. I was a manager at Tropical Smoothie for three years, so I’m very familiar with how the food is supposed to be prepared and presented. With that experience in mind, I truly believe the team here needs stronger training—especially when it comes to food quality and consistency.
I always order the Santa Fe quesadilla, and the issues are the same each time, sometimes worse. The quesadilla is rarely fully cooked. The cheese is not melted, which causes all the ingredients to fall out, and the tortilla tastes undercooked. This is something you can see immediately just by looking at it.
The way it’s cut is another problem. It’s consistently sliced like a pizza, which only makes the ingredients spill out even more. I know how it’s supposed to be cut because I trained employees on this exact item—each slice should have a small gap between cuts so the filling stays intact when you pick it up. When it’s both undercooked and cut incorrectly, it turns into a huge, messy struggle to eat.
This is not an issue with one employee; I see different staff every time, and the results are always the same. That tells me the team simply isn’t being trained according to corporate standards. I’ve even noticed reviews from other customers saying the same thing about the food quality, so I know it isn’t just me.
I’m sharing this as constructive feedback because I genuinely want this location to succeed. Proper training, following the recipe cards, and reinforcing food-prep standards could significantly improve the quality—and I truly believe your rating would rise well above the current 3.5 if these changes were made.
I enjoy the food and would love to keep coming here, but if the experience continues to decline, I may have to stop visiting. I hope you take this feedback to heart and use it as an opportunity to strengthen your team and overall customer experience.

Manager was not good to her employees! They were confused as she was not a good trainer.. People in the resturant waiting for their orders Manager all worried about orders for people who are not their. Handed me my wrap 10 minutes before my smoothie..Unreal. Poor place never will I go there again.

I’ve been coming to this Tropical Smoothie location for years. Every morning, same order, same time — it used to be a great store with great food and smoothies. There was a sweet young girl who always served me and made sure everything was perfect. I recently found out she transferred to another store, and honestly, that was the only time I ever received good service and quality food in the past couple of months.
Ever since the management changed, this location has gone completely downhill. The manager is rude, unprofessional, and clearly doesn’t care about the customers or the brand’s standards. When I asked for help with the app, the manager flat-out told me, “We don’t help you with the app or know anything about promotions.” How does a Tropical Smoothie manager not know or care about the company’s own promotions? That’s unacceptable and shows how poorly this store is being run.
This was a family spot for us for years, ever since this store opened. It used to feel welcoming and consistent. Now, the food quality is terrible, the staff doesn’t seem to care, and the customer experience is completely gone. The only time the food looked and tasted right was when that same morning crew member (the girl who transferred) was working. I even used to ask when she’d be there, just so I could come in on her shift and actually be treated kindly and served decent food.
Lately, every time my wife and I have eaten here, we’ve gotten sick — that’s how bad it’s become. Something is seriously wrong with the way this store is being managed. Tropical Smoothie needs to look into this location immediately because other stores nearby are doing amazing — management, staff, food, and smoothies are all 100%. But this store? It’s the complete opposite.
Now I drive 20 minutes out of my way to the location near Panda Express because they’re doing things right. I wish I could still go to this one, but it’s just not the same anymore. Please bring back better management, better staff, and people who actually care about this store — like the employee who used to make this place worth coming to.
