  I’m not sure what the problem was. I assume it had been a long day. Still does not make how my husband or myself were treated this evening at this food lion location! As we were checking out, I was paying for the groceries I have a tendency to keep my money j in n Cash App and keep bank account my card locked. So I had to love money over, WHICH I STATED. Obviously the cashier was bothered by this, as she kept rolling her eyes because if how long I was taking to move my money over to pay for the groceries. As I was doing this my husband angled the buggy toward the door. He wasn’t planning on leaving just maneuvering the buggy while I paid, the clerk then states “you can’t leave until she pays! (Very hateful tone I might add) he then asks her to repeat herself and she says yet again very rudely YOU CANT LEAVE HNTIL SHE PAYS! I then move the money over and pay for our things. She treated us as if we couldn’t afford what we were getting. She truly upset both of us! We are not thieves we pay for everything and are local business owners! I’ve been in there before and she has a tendency to be on the road side. I guess, you just have to catch her on her good days and probably not towards Closing time! I will be reaching out to the manager tomorrow morning!.

  Out of date products and incorrect prices. Bread marked 3.39 rings up at 3.59 as an example. Watch everything!

  All food lion need to fix the time they say they going be open 6am-11pm n that’s a lie me in some older people was there in got turn around by all staff outside sitting on side not how u run business

  Truly just had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. My wife and I entered the store close to closing time. As we strolled up the front doors automatically opened - both sets of double doors - and there we were in the lobby. As we entered an older Caucasian woman screamed at the top of her lungs “we are closed, we are closed.” We then asked why the front door was open if they were closed. Her snarky remark was “if you can get your shit fast get it and get out, I have to pull the drawers.” My wife quickly grabbed a pringles while I looked for skittles - only to have the same woman belittle me and rudely yell which aisle they could be found in. If that wasn’t enough, she had the audacity to tell us to have a wonderful night. This woman must hate her life. She was rude, yelled, cursed, and made demands. If the store was closed - why were the doors open? How as a customer was my wife and I to know? She was rude and unprofessional, and has no business being around the public. In the highly competitive grocery market one would think that every customer has a value. If this Food Lion doesn’t get rid of this miserable women then they truly don’t value respect, professionalism, or their customers.
