  My wife and I ate at this Panera by Lowe’s Home Improvement December 31st. We hadn’t been there in a while but the food is consistently the same and they change some of the seasonal offerings. The people taking the orders are generally pleasant, patient and helpful. However they have a tendency to neglect to offer the side item choices and assume you want the baguette. I am diabetic and cant eat bread which is disappointing because their Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt is delicious. We usually order a salad each. This time my wife met me there and ordered before I arrived. We each had the Southwest Chicken Ranch which is very filling, loaded with chicken strips and Avocado slices, grape tomatoes, roasted corn, fresh cilantro, blue corn tortilla strips, and drizzled with chipotle aioli. As expected my wife asked for an apple and the kitchen gave us baguettes. The atmosphere is generally quiet, well lit and clean however this time the kitchen was out of dishes and had to serve our salads in To Go containers. No explanation for the absence of dishes other than there weren’t any clean ones ( primarily why I gave service a 3 star rating this time). Panera offers a variety of beverages from coffee and soda to several flavors of smoothies. They have a variety of bagels and pastries for a small breakfast and some snacks and deserts. It’s a nice place to have coffee and a bagel and do some reading, more so than Starbucks. All in all it’s generally a pleasant experience and the service is generally very good.

  Ordered turkey sandwich got tuna fish. Not worth driving back. Not the first time will be the last. Not worth the price for below average food

  We love Panera. Food was 5 stars. My son and I came in to the Lexington, SC store on a busy Saturday afternoon after lacrosse. We were pleasantly greeted by our cashier, Nikita. I’d give Nikita 10 stars if I could. By far the best service and attitude I’ve seen in a while. She was super friendly and helpful and her positivity was contagious. She was everywhere… taking orders, cleaning up tables, talking to patrons. Even my 9 year old said, “Mom, she was sooo nice. Can we write a review?” Done. Give Nikita a raise.

  I was here the other day and overheard a supervisor telling staff they couldn’t take a break until everything was done. Stop mistreating your workers! Most of the workers here look like high school and college students. I would never recommend anyone letting their kids work here based off what I heard the supervisor saying to her workers. My cashier was friendly so this has no reflection on the service she provided. Food was not the best so I won’t miss coming to this location. Corporate if you see this get better managers and treat your workers better shame on you.

  absolute worse panera ever. they close at 9 pm but start dumping all their soups at at 8:30 even if you placed your mobile order before than??
