The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell, it smelled like a fishy seafood market, which was pretty off-putting right away.
Then when they started building my bowl, the girl serving the rice barely put half a scoop in. I asked if she could add just a little more since it was such a small amount. I wasn’t asking for a whole extra scoop, just a little more to make it a normal portion, and she refused.
When we got to the toppings, it got even more annoying. I asked for tomatoes and cucumbers, which I always get.The spoon they use is already tiny, and she swished it through the container so fast that most of it fell out before it even made it into my bowl. I literally ended up with about two pieces of tomato.
When I said something about the portions, she told me this is an “academy store” and that’s how they’re trained to serve customers. For a bowl that costs around $21, that’s pretty ridiculous. It honestly felt like they were trying to give the absolute smallest portions.
Not all CAVA locations are like this at all, I definitely won’t be coming back to this one.

Ive eaten at this location a few times and its always fresh. Another thing I like is that they give you a consistent and decent portion size unlike a lot of the other chains similar to them. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is basic but clean

This was my first visit to CAVA, and I used the digital drive‑through ordering system. The ordering process itself worked well. I arrived early and, since there was no one behind me, waited in the drive‑through.
A friendly woman came to the window and asked for my name. I let her know I was early and also told her my drink preference, since the digital ordering form didn’t allow me to specify one. She closed the window, and moments later a man appeared and asked me the exact same questions. I gave him the same answers.
Shortly after, my food arrived. I asked, “Can I have my Coke?” The woman smiled, left the windowopen, and walked away. I assumed she was getting my drink. The window remained open, and I was left staring at the man who had already asked about my drink, along with a third woman wearing a blue‑and‑white headscarf. She saw the window open and asked if I needed anything else, and I told her I was waiting on my drink. She replied “okay” and slammed the window shut.
Eventually, my almost‑full drink arrived.
When I got home, I realized I was just as unimpressed by the service as I was by the food, and sad I waste the money. The lentil bowl was the highlight. I built a salad using their available ingredients, and I think I did a decent job with that. Unfortunately, the hummus was terrible, and the pita was chewy in a way that made it seem previously frozen.
Overall, the entire experience felt odd and disorganized. It’s fair to say I won’t be returning.
