Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported slow service, especially in the drive-thru, with long wait times and disorganization.
Food Quality
Mixed reviews on food quality; some found burgers dry and lacking flavor, while others enjoyed the taste and freshness.
Order Accuracy
Numerous complaints about incorrect orders and missing items, indicating a need for improvement in order handling.
Staff Attitude
While some customers praised friendly staff, others noted a lack of attentiveness and enthusiasm from employees.
Pricing Concerns
Several customers felt the prices were high for the quality of food received, leading to dissatisfaction.

I have been to Whataburger from one end of the U.S. to the other. This one is by far the best one I have been to. Good, atmosphere, staff were all excellent.

Incredibly slow drive thru even at lunch on a Tuesday. Food is good and service is friendly but I don't have 30 min to kill at a "fast" food drive thru. Get it moving!

Avoid the drive through at all costs, the focus is not on serving customers, I went on a Sunday afternoon about 2 pm for a simple order and watched my order sit in the drive thru window, was not acknowledged at all for 5 minutes, I got the attention of another employee who just shrugged her shoulders and pointed at the single employee running the drive thru. Very disappointed in the service.

Well - we were excited to try the WB on Charlotte Highway. I'll say in general we were let down - nothing was BAD per se, but a lot of little things stacked up against our experience:
First off a $50 bill for: two meals, 1 al carte burger, and 1 kids meal - that seems insane for a burger joint, of which there are plenty to choose from in town.
Secondly - we waited almost ten minutes after ordering in a drive-thru lane that was extremely slow for our food.
C - the team neglected to give us 1)our ordered beverage for the kids meal and 2) the dessert...bummer for my 8yo.
D - the food was decent, the double hamburger I had was a touch dry but my wife and daughter liked theirs OK.
Finally - the one shining element was their team. They were very friendly and tried to be helpful.
Not sure we'll be back - I can think of other ways to spend $50 on lunch.
