  We had a lovely experience here while visiting from out of town. We were given a semi-private table and our waitress, Donna, took wonderful care of us. I had the steak frites and my husband had the seafood pasta. The warm bread and oil was delicious. We had an issue with our desserts being brought out timely, and it was handled swiftly and kindly by the whole team. If we find ourselves back in the area, we’ll certainly dine here again!

  Absolutely amazing experience at Alexander! All the servers were incredibly kind, attentive, and friendly—every single one of them went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special thank you to General Manager Honey for her excellent service and hospitality, and to Chef Mike for the outstanding, delicious food. Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The restaurant itself is beautiful, elegant, and has such a wonderful upscale atmosphere. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be coming back!

  Underwhelming experience at Alexander’s. Surprised after reading so many positive reviews. We were a table of 8 however the restaurant was pretty empty for a Thursday night. Requested timeslot couldn’t be accommodated (7 pm so 8 pm was selected), yet there were only 3 other seatings. Lighting inside the restaurant was very bright white stark light but request to turn it down for ambiance was kindly accommodated. Pre-reservation drinks at the bar were good with a selection of local liquors. Sadly, food was mediocre at best. Schnitzel was served cold, potato sides were old and appeared reheated not fresh. Best dish of the night was the house fish special I think it was Red fish which was hot and tasty. Prime rib was adequate not blown away. Others dishes were sadly not memorable and I cannot recall them now. Service was good. Overall I’ll personally likely not return, and not as a group, though as a smaller couple for lunch I suspect my parents as locals will give it another try.
