  There’s a problem at the deli. Twice recently I’ve left because I couldn’t find help. The other day a lady looked right at me while taking chicken out of the rotisserie and I said very loudly excuse me. After a few times i left and ended up going to ingles. I’ve started going yo ingles, it’s a little more expensive but they always have a dedicated person or 2 at the deli counter. Even when I was able to get lunch meat at food lion I’m always searching someone down to help me. They will ignore you and hope you go away. I started just getting my soda ant food lion and can goods. Meat at quality foods and if I want deli meat and bakery bread I go to ingles. Ingles also has the cans of skyline chili that people will make a dedicated run for. On another note food lion check outs at slow. It seems like they are trying to go slow on purpose. The management needs to run the store better. It was my go to store because it’s the closest . Running in to get stuff to make a ham sandwich is almost impossible and very time consuming.

  Ive started to go here allot because its peaceful and easy to checkout at. Walmart has become awful and this is usually a pretty peaceful place just to buy something and leave.Sadly now the manager and employees are becoming obsessed with catching shoplifters. They actually follow you around the store and watch you. It makes you uncomfortable when someones watching you, and your not even doing anything. I hope that they will eventually learn to be more discreet and stop, treating innocent people like shoplifters. It runs your customers away. Their not the cheapest, and their customers feeling welcome is the only selling point that this place offers. I would advise them to stop and improve the personal touch of the store.

  Decent store, but they have a tendency to move stuff around, so sometimes you have to go hunting. Re-stocking seems to be hap-hazard at times, also. This is our go-to supermarket because it's close by.

  I like this Food Lion better than the one in Lyman that's closer to the house. It's bigger and the prices are better. I seem to always find what I need and maybe an extra thing or two, but always at a great price
