  What attention to detail- there was a Collective Soul concert across the street so the music was Collective Soul Radio to cater to the concert goers. First time here- Amazing sushi, amazing service, will be returning! The GM, John, made it a point to visit every table and our server, Tavia, was ON IT! True professionals.

  My experience at O-ku was amazing! I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary and they made our day so special. We ate the Red Passion roll and the Rainbow and both were incredible!! They also brought out a free gift of shrimp to celebrate us!!! Which was amazing. Oku is truly an amazing and delicious restaurant. Perfect food, Amazing service. And shout out to our server Presley! She was so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable of the menu, any questions we had she had the answer.

  We took our three kids for my wife’s birthday and had an outstanding experience. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Noah, our server, did an amazing job serving a diverse set of palettes at the table. I even told him to choose for me and he nailed the amount of food and the specific items chosen. Truly incredible. (The service was a smidge slow for young kids but my wife and I would’ve really enjoyed the leisurely pacing if it was just us.)

  Beyond incredible! From start to finish we had a wonderful evening at O-Ku. We had the pleasure of having Presley as our server and she was beyond impressive. The manager (forgot to get his name) was very knowledgeable and helpful as well on the menu items. We got a bunch of appetizers and each of us got delicious rolls and my step father got the sashimi dinner. Everything was spectacular! We could not have picked a better place for my birthday dinner. We’re from Savannah, but cannot wait to come back to O-Ku. I’ve never had such an amazing experience and we love the staff and food so much! Compliments to the chefs for preparing incredible food. Thank y’all so much for waiting on us and creating a beautiful evening. I wish I would have taken better photos, but seriously, book the reservation!!!

  From the moment we walked in, the experience stood out in a way you just don’t see much anymore. The staff’s knowledge of the menu was exceptional. The care for dietary restrictions asked before ordering. Every recommendation felt thoughtful, confident, and spot-on. You could tell they genuinely knew and believed in what they were serving. What truly set the night apart, though, was the hospitality. Our child had tripped on our walk downtown and was still tearful when we arrived. The managern John, quietly stepped in and brought her mochi to help cheer her up. It was such a simple, kind gesture, but it spoke volumes about the level of care and awareness this team has. The food itself was incredible. Every dish exceeded expectations(the Truffle Edamame devoured by my 5 year old) but it was the combination of outstanding service, attention to detail, and genuine warmth that made the experience unforgettable. This is the kind of place that reminds you what great dining is supposed to feel like.
