- TCTammy ConwayApr 19, 20261.0We spent $30+ and got in the car driving. We decided to eat our fries. They were burned up. The bread for the burger was hard and the meat was red. It will be a long time before we eat at this Five Guys. The grill cheese bread was burned up also.

Yet it took 30 minutes to order and get my food. The hamburger was a mess. The bun was so thin that it collapsed after a few bites. The burger and a small fry cost over $15. What a disappointment.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
