This place was absolutely incredible. When you pull up, they offer valet parking, which is perfect if you don’t feel like walking. There are also nearby parking options for $5–$10, which is convenient for downtown.
The restaurant itself was warm, elegant, and inviting, with dim lighting that really set the mood. This is definitely a place where you want to dress up and look good. It’s perfect for a romantic dinner date, girls’ night out, or a classy evening after work.
The service was top-notch—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. After debating what to order, I went with one of their top-selling dishes: the scallops—and wow. They were huge, perfectly cooked, and very filling. The peas underneath complemented them so well.
I also ordered the fried Brussels sprouts with bacon and crème brûlée, which were delicious and came in a large, filling portion. My husband ordered the salmon along with a smoked old-fashioned, and they smoked his drink to absolute perfection. The cocktails were very well done—I had a Manhattan, and it was excellent.
Our host and waitress were amazing, and it’s places like this that remind you why tipping your servers well truly matters—outstanding service deserves recognition.
The atmosphere really stood out, especially during the holiday season. Everything downtown was beautifully lit, the restaurant wasn’t overly packed, and we could actually hear each other talk. Holiday music played softly in the background, which added to the experience. They also have separate rooms available for celebrations and birthday parties, which is a great touch.
The restaurant is located next to Clove, another newer spot downtown. The pricing was fair, and I really appreciated their $50 two-course meal option, which includes a main course, salad, and dessert—a great value in today’s economy.
If you work in the corporate world like I do, you’ll love this restaurant for its peaceful, elegant atmosphere—a perfect place to unwind after work. This spot is definitely one of the reasons I still love coming downtown.
