I love CAVA. I eat from another location (Haywood Road) all the time. It’s always fantastic and the staff are friendly and the place is clean. This was totally not the case yesterday at Woodruff Road. When I walked in, there was crap all over the floor. Straw wrappers, food, napkins, DIRTY GLOVES, the trash cans were overflowing and there were many, many trays stacked to where they were falling over in the trash station. I’d never been in this store before so I walked to the apparent wrong end of the counter. The employee who finally made his way over to me acted like I was a total inconvenience to his leaning against the wall doing nothing. He treated me like I was stupid and said that I have to make my way down to the other end of the line to order. Fine. I go down, order a chicken shawarma pita. He puts it together sloppily as a kindergartener would. I pay and sit down. I took only a few bites of the pita because it was just sloppy and nasty. I enjoyed my cinnamon sugar pita crisps however. All the staff minus one girl on the grill and chopping chicken were just standing there doing absolutely nothing while the place looked like a bomb had gone off minutes before I walked in. Absolutely unacceptable and I will for sure not eat at this location ever again, and will for sure even think hard about going back to the reliable location I frequented prior to this visit.

Ive ordered delivery about 4 times this week. I ask for dressing on the side so I can put it on before I eat it so its not soggy when it gets to me. Well....ive only gotten my dressings 1 time out of 4!!! The 1st time I ever ordered they included the dressing but didnt include several toppings including avocado which cost extra & also 2 orders of pita chips. I always ask for extra dressing (you can only pick 2 on uber) & tell them they could charge me extra for it. So each time instead of extra, I end up NO DRESSING! I dont understand how this happens 3 times in 1 week! I think this will be my LAST order unfortunately. Too many mistakes especially when ive ordered 4 times in a weeks time. Please DO BETTER !!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone ordering delivery if you want to receive everything you ask/pay for . Also- the regular hummus doesnt taste right at all. It has weird taste to it. Just sayin...

First time there. Never been skimped so much. I could’ve believe the portion sizes they give people here. They give you this large bowl and barely put anything in it. I asked for olives and get literally 3 halves probably. I wanted to laugh out loud 😂 never again will i waste money at a greedy establishment that tells their employees to give such small portions for $10.50-$14.00+ bowls. This world is greedier by the day.

My Allergy was inconvenient?! I came here about 4:30 and the restaurant was moderately busy. I told the server my allergy and she just stared at me, so I asked her to change her gloves for my safety. She did so. The next server was not so considerate. I told her of my allergy and she barked back about “what do you want?” I asked excuse me. She said she’d get my toppings out of the fridge, yet she used the same dipping spoon. She was sooo brash I turned to the guy at the cash register, “I don’t mean it tick her off, but this is my life she’s playing with her anger. “ To which he said she’s just like that. Inappropriate especially when serving food to anyone, and more so to someone who has allergies to certain ingredients. I was very disappointed. The drink bar was mostly empty and utensils empty. And at the end she barked at me to enjoy my evening. Her harsh and disingenuous attitude was heard throughout the restaurant. I won’t be back to this location. Is decency and kindness not related to customer service? By the way, my allergy is anaphylactic and I carry epi.

My rating is influenced by the fact that the food is OK, but not great for "Whole Food, Plant Based, No Oil" diet. We shared a "Build your own bowl". We sensed there was oil in some of the vegetables. The Ice Machine was empty so I couldn't put ice in the beverages. The tables are cleaned by the customers. I would suggest a water filter be added to the beverage machine. When dispensing plain soda water, you can taste & smell the clorine used to sanitized the municiple water system. The dining area was cold.
