Cava is usually one of our favorite places. We like to treat ourselves every now and then because it is pretty pricey. The last two experiences with cava on woodruff has been absolutely terrible. The service was awful and this time we ordered online and the entire order was wrong! So disappointing but the food is good when your order is correct. I’m sure cava in other locations are good. Beware of the cava on woodruff!

The whole team, especially Taylor, always does an amazing job. Everything is consistently fresh, well-portioned, and has great taste!! The the food is always made right, and the flavors never miss. I got a bowl, it’s always an easy experience to order and definitely worth coming back for. It’s a must try!

The guy making my bowl gave me sass and rolled his eyes at me. I almost walked out because of his attitude because that was how he greeted me - with contempt that I should dare come here and order food. All this before I had ever spoken. Had I been rude, or had others been difficult, I would’ve understood a bit but it was not crowded despite being the height of lunchtime. I guess I know why. He was also giving out tiny scoops of everything. The woodruff rd location gives much better portions more consistently.
The girl who finished my bowl and rang me up seemed to not know what a tomato was and kept asking me the same questions over and over (this? Or not this? Small or large? Which one again?) and forgot to give me cups, so I had to ask twice. Then we had to go back to the counter to pay for the extra side item they forgot to ring up, which was a hassle. The restaurant was nearly empty by the way.
One of these alone would’ve been not worth the review but all of them together with the girl in the prep area constantly on her phone were all so annoying it made me want to leave without eating. The people on their phones didn’t wash their hands, either, and it turned my stomach. It’s very rare that people don’t take their phone in the bathroom. Should that cell phone then be in the area (and touched by hand that) prep the food you’re about to eat?
Plus, the cups for drinks are incredibly tiny. I mean, charging for what cannot even be 8 Oz cups for soda is unbelievable. At other locations, those tiny cups were only for the free water and soda came in a larger 12 Oz cup with another size up for large. I think that cava has either made a terrible change to their sizing or I was hoodwinked (the latter seeming all the more likely based on the service I experienced here).

First time I went to this place, it was amazing. Good food, good service, good portion size for the money.
The service was still great as was the food and atmosphere - abut I was surprised at how much smaller the portion was - especially the amount of protein I got. It was a bit disappointing in that regard.
