  I stopped at the Wendy’s at 601 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek for a quick meal, and the drive-thru setup made no sense at all. They have an employee outside taking orders like Chick-fil-A, but Wendy’s is not pulling Chick-fil-A traffic, and they do not need this process in place. The employee was polite, so this is not about her. The problem is the system. She handed me a small menu card with no prices on it, which is ridiculous. In today’s world, fast food is expensive, and people want to see prices before they order. That should be obvious. I ended up pulling forward to the regular menu board just so I could see the prices, and then she still had to come over with the tablet to take the order. So what exactly was the point? It saved no time whatsoever and only made the process more awkward and inefficient. There is a Chick-fil-A across the street that, almost daily, runs two lines of cars that are often about 15 cars deep in each line. That is why Chick-fil-A has people outside taking orders — it actually improves efficiency and keeps traffic moving. This Wendy’s does not have that kind of volume, so copying the same process is just not smart. It does not improve anything, it does not save time, and it only makes ordering more confusing. Wendy’s needs to stop pretending it is Chick-fil-A and go back to a simpler process that actually works.

  I use to like this location… Managers have always been nice when she’s serving at the window. Anyone else I can’t and will no longer eat here 3 strikes and that 3rd was today. When I pay for my food I don’t want to have to ask for my receipt. Two don’t talk to me like I’m your friend at the window and three presentation is key you give me a bag with grease seeping through with oil soaked fries. Last they never listen to order size. This is the 3rd time my experience was not good and I’m officially done with Wendy’s. Don’t need to be eating this stuff anyway i just wanted a sandwich but today was confirmation I don’t need it. A waste of money and time.

  Well staffed dining room while cleaned manager super friendly employees seem to be in great moods definitely will come back
