I visited this McDonald’s today during my lunch break after placing a mobile order at 12:17 PM. I want to start by saying the employee who handed me my receipt was very polite and professional. She asked if I was using the mobile app and handled that interaction exactly how customer service should be handled.
Unfortunately, everything after that was unacceptable.
The employee who handed me my food was extremely rude and dismissive. I was told to pull up and wait because they were waiting on fries. I did exactly that, yet 5-6 cars were allowed to go behind me while I sat there waiting. When my order was finally brought out, there was no apology, no explanation, and no professionalism.
I was first handed my drink, a medium Coca Cola. I usually do not take a sip until I leave, but I was on a short lunch break and took one right away. It immediately tasted like Diet Coke. I am very familiar with the difference. When I politely mentioned that it may have been made incorrectly, the employee responded rudely and said that is just how their Coke tastes. I explained that I had been there only a few days prior and it tasted completely normal.
Instead of addressing the concern professionally, she walked away angrily and returned with another drink. The replacement Coke tasted exactly as it should, which confirmed the first drink was incorrect. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake.
The fries were even worse. After waiting 10 to 15 minutes specifically because they were supposedly waiting on fresh fries, what I received was the worst McDonald’s fries I have ever had. They were completely soggy, oversaturated with grease, and the cup was soaked through with oil. They were not fresh, not crisp, and honestly disgusting.
Between the rude attitude, lack of accountability, incorrect order, and unacceptable food quality, this visit was extremely disappointing. I expect better standards, especially during peak lunch hours. Mistakes can happen, but dismissive behavior and poor quality control should not. Management needs to seriously address customer service and food preparation at this location.
