  I will never pick up an order from here or personally eat here. The first issue from a few weeks ago; the cashier was on the phone talking to her friend when she handed me the order. I got to the car, only to notice, I was short a cookie. I went back inside, went up to the cashier who was still on the phone and requested the missing cookie. She informed me they had no more. This should have been mentioned when i picked up the order but her phone call with her friend was more important. The 2nd issue was today. I had another pick up. There were several people in line either waiting for food or to be serviced. I stood in line waiting. One girl was at the grill, the other girl was boxing a meal. None of the girls took the time to stop and ask me if I needed assistance. I even made eye contact with the girl boxing food. She had plenty of time to ask but she just stood there waiting for the next order to be taken off the grill. And singing to the radio that was turned up to loud.

  I wanted to order a drink… 2 ladies were working this day they both didn’t even acknowledge me standing at the register playing and talking over people who is not OK so I walked it off and all they drink somewhere else. They are so unprofessional maybe if they wanna talk over people food they should wear a mask even a hairnet

  I have always loved this place but today was a different story... I wont go into the details here but all I will say is we had to end up speaking to mall security because of the incident.. needless to say we waited a good 10 minutes to be waited on and the girl that finally came to wait on my husband her name was Teia who was not at all happy to wait on my husband and what followed afterwards has us never wanting to go in there again... Absolutely horrible situation that didnt need to go that way... wish I could speak to the manager of this establishment.. and by the time we got done with mall security my food was cold so I just threw it away... WORST PLACE EVER!! DO NOT GO HERE

  I had a very unpleasant experience at this Charlie’s Cheesesteaks location. The staff was unprofessional from the start, but the situation escalated when I witnessed a worker touch raw, uncooked chicken and then immediately handle cooked chicken without changing gloves or washing hands. When I politely requested that my food be remade due to obvious food safety concerns, the worker became upset. After already dealing with disrespectful behavior, I requested a refund and was then approached by the general manager. Unfortunately, she was extremely rude, sarcastic, and dismissive instead of addressing the serious health concern. Her attitude was unprofessional and unacceptable for someone in a management position. The restaurant itself was not clean, and the lack of basic food safety practices is very concerning. This location is a health hazard and clearly needs better training, supervision, and accountability. I will not be returning and would caution others.

  This was easily one of the worst Charlie’s experiences I’ve ever had. I’m from New York and I’ve seen my share of bad service, but this was on another level. I walked up to the counter and, one by one, every employee disappeared into the back—some of them even made direct eye contact with me as they walked away. No one said, “One minute” or “We’ll be right with you.” They just left. The only person who stayed out front was the cook, who continued scraping the grill for several minutes before finally looking up. I asked where everyone went, and he said “one minute” and went to the back to get someone. After waiting a few more minutes, I gave up and left for Chick-fil-A. I really wanted Charlie’s, though, so I came back—only to find that there was still no one at the counter. I asked the cook what was going on, and he said his coworker had come out while I was gone. He went to get her again. A few minutes later, she finally appeared. No smile, no apology—just an unpleasant expression like she was annoyed to even be there. I tried to crack a light joke to ease the tension, but she clearly wasn’t interested in any interaction. I placed my order and waited. I then watched the cook put beef on the grill, even though I had clearly ordered chicken. Since I was the only customer at the time, I assumed it was mine and asked, “Is that chicken?” He looked startled, scooped it up, and set it aside before finally putting chicken on the grill. From that point on, my order went smoothly. As I waited, the line started to grow, but the service continued at a snail’s pace. It was disappointing to see such a complete lack of pride in the service being provided. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location unless there is a serious overhaul of their customer service training.
