  This place has potential. Great location to be successful but you will notice the majority of complaints are about premium prices that do not deliver on a high quality expectations. The actual deli/breakfast options are tolerable but you guys really need to rethink your market area. Do you think 7 dollars is reasonable for what amounts to a handful of pretzels? If so, you are out of your mind. My assumption is that the business is growing right now since Publix is out of commission at the moment. This is purely out of convenience for those who live on the island. However, when Publix opens again my expectation is that Buck's will take a pretty nasty hit. Perfect example: premade meals. Publix sells these for typically $7.99 - $8.99. The Buck's equivalent is smaller in size but selling for $16.99! That's not sustainable. It's not like a local market/deli can't compete, however! Take the New York Butcher shoppe, for instance. They have been in business far longer and even while Publix was open, they had a steady stream of business with an even smaller market area and limited options! Buck's needs to take this advice: find a way to reduce prices or you will feel the squeeze when Publix inevitably takes your business. It doesn't need to be cheaper than Publix but it does need to be competitive.

  Everything about this place is AMAZING! There’s such a wide selection of fresh juices, fruits, veggies, on-the-go meals, sandwiches, & desserts. ALL so thoughtfully made. The owner was incredibly kind & welcoming; he even let my fiancé & I sample a few things. Banana pudding is out of this world & the cookies have the perfect balance between soft & crunch. You can truly feel the love & care that goes into everything they make. It’s rare to find a spot that turns everyday ingredients into such savory, elevated experiences. We left feeling happy, & this will definitely be our go-to spot!

  Enter into a welcoming atmosphere, behind the counter is friendly helpful staff. No one is rushing you, they have gluten free options and the food is delicious! The gluten free sandwich bread is very good! For all of my gf peeps you know how rare that is. Bucks Deli on DI is a real gem.

  The employees are always so kind and cheerful it definitely goes a long way. I love their chicken caesar salad/wrap and they gave a couple protein balls for my friends and I to try for free, which were also really good! If you’re introverted maybe don’t stand too close to the counter while you wait—they asked me to sample some pie maybe 5 times (it became a bit, and luckily I love a good bit).

  This place is amazing! The service was outstanding and everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can tell the staff really enjoys what they do. The food was top-notch. Our wraps and sandwiches were fresh, delicious, and made to order. *make sure you try those red peppers Mr. Buck was so nice and friendly! He made sure everyone was happy and taken care of, which really added a personal touch. You don’t see that kind of genuine hospitality very often anymore. Highly recommend this spot — great people, great food, and such a welcoming deli!
