Was given a time to get in the drive thru line for pick up and then 2 more texts arrived delaying what I felt, 30 minutes for an ASAP order, was a ridiculous amount of time. When I got to the window one of our drink sizes was wrong. I told the surly lady at the drive thru that and she just continued to hand me a medium drink, saying "It's a medium." each time. I know it's a medium. Could you please at least check the order? I left with my medium drink. Not because I was satisfied with the outcome but because I was so annoyed at getting stonewalled. I also felt sorry for the long line of holiday shoppers behind me who just wanted their lunch and why is that dumb lady taking so long?! Hope their orders were right! I vowed, on the way home, never to patronize Panera again. Then I got home and we tasted their sandwiches. Out of this world! My husband and I both got grilled ham and cheese with chibatta bread instead of white and white cheddar cheese instead of American cheese. Totally calorie bomb; but, it was two days before Christmas and we were celebrating early! So Panera, your delicious sandwiches saved you from a horrible rating because nothing else about my experience conveyed to me that you honor me as a customer and are willing to do what it takes to earn the dollars I gave you. And please hire an employee to run drive thru at 11 am on Tuesdays - because the one stationed there on December 23rd was gloomy, unhelpful, and about as welcoming as a skunk.
