Made reservations for party of 5 for 630. just left and still had no table. Young child throwing a fit because she was hungry. Usually making a reservation assures you a table but not here apparently

I had a very disappointing experience at Outback Steakhouse. I chose to sit and eat at the bar, and my food was brought out by a waiter named Moe. At the time, the bartender had stepped away from the bar. When I politely asked Moe for silverware, he rudely responded, “No, get it from the bar,” and immediately walked away. His tone and attitude were completely unprofessional. When the bartender returned, she was informed about what had happened. She did speak with Moe about the situation, but later came back and told me that “he did not care.” Hearing that after already being treated so poorly only made the experience worse. Customer service should be a basic expectation when dining out, and this interaction made me feel like my business didn’t matter. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I hope management addresses how guests are treated because no customer should be spoken to that way.

This has been my favorite restaurant for many years! They cook the best steak, have amazing margaritas, and the blooming onion is one of a kind incredible. I love it so much so that for my 28th birthday my vegan spouse wanted to take me here. We don't go to this restaurant often because the only things my vegan spouse can eat are French fries, a plain baked potato, or a side salad. We made the reservation online an hour in advance, but when we arrived to the restaurant prior to our reservation time we were told a 30 minute wait. Seemed busy, my spouse was upset but I said okay. Thirty minutes later, still waiting patiently, the hostess told us there was now a 1 hour hold on seating anyone per the manager. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed but honestly felt bad for our hostess that had been set up to fail, which is why I prevented my spouse from making the scene that they clearly wanted to (and frankly was not unwarranted). We left, went to Kroger, and thanks to YouTube my spouse cooked me a genuinely incredible steak dinner at home. I used to love Outback but after this treatment on my golden birthday... will not be returning or recommending. With how rarely I go to restaurants like this and how disappointed I was to receive this treatment with a reservation on my birthday, I felt I needed to share.

The food was terrible! I ordered a Grilled Salmon with a fully loaded baked potato and it took almost an hour to arrive. The Salmon was extremely salty. You taste the salt more than the Salmon itself. Than there was this other after taste - tasted and smelled like a rotten egg. The young lady that served me and a family member was very slow at coming to our table. She made more visits with customers around us. Didn't bring every thing l asked for ( condiments in a timely matter or no water but got refill on the tea). I encouraged my family member to throw away her chopped steak that she took out as a carry out because it was extremely salty and gravy was not obviously not homemade; just watered down brown sludge. The baked potato that l ordered had a small amount of topping. Quality down but food prices up. So much for a good Sunday lunch.
