    We had a reservation for 9:30 p.m. We were seated at that time with no problem, but didn't get a chef until 11 p.m. Immediately upon entering the area where the hibachi grills are located there was so much smoke and grease in the air my eyes start to burn. I took my glasses off and the grease from the air was on lenses and the face of my cell phone. The plates, silverware, and grill was dirty. We all then notice there was no ventilation fans over the grills to suck the smoke out. They had a side door open I'm assuming to help with it, but it didn't. Our eyes watered until some had years coming down their faces, but the birthday girl didn't feel like finding another restaurant so late so we stayed. We asked for hot water and lemons to clean our plates and silverware. Once the cook came we had to ask that he clean the grill before placing our food on it. Steaks and lobster tails were over cooked, and he had to keep running to get more meat. We were there from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! I'm shocked that they allow this business to operate without proper ventilation. Left there eyes burning, and congested. The restaurant itself is beautiful though.

    We attended the NYE event …DJ was fire but it definitely wasn’t worth the $108 we spent for two drinks apiece, champagne, and very light appetizers. The hibachi was separate for purchase…not cool. If we decide to come back that should definitely be included for the price.

    Ordered steak hibachi, Godzilla roll and spider roll. My husband and I decided to share a a lunch plate and 2 sushi rolls because it was our anniversary and we had a ton of activities to do. We usually go to Satos so we were thinking we would have a ton of left overs. Safe to say I left hungry. I wasn’t going to write a review but — I remembered that the waitress asked us if we were celebrating something and we told her our wedding anniversary. I would think her asking meant she was going to try to make our visit extra special. She didn’t do anything special (not that we were looking for it but why ask?) I felt so bad leaving a $5 tip but she made our interaction so awkward. She didn’t know the menu (couldn’t tell us which roll is which) - neither could the young lady who bought the food to the table. After sleeping on it.. I can’t believe they bought this to your table. My husband and I figured out this was the Spider roll because of that big brown thing in the Sushi (that’s supposed be the soft shell crab) . Of course I didn’t pay for it.. not as a favor but because what!???!?

    Worst service by girl with glasses. She stood by the guys making the sushi the entire time and watched them (15 minutes). Our appetizer came out but we had no plates to eat it with because, guess what, our server was watching someone else work. I had to ask an employee passing by for the plates. Once our server finally came over with the sushi, we never saw her again. No one checked on us to see how the food was or if we needed anything. The sushi was awful because the rice was mushy. The only good thing were the dumplings appetizer we ordered. At the end, we had to flag down someone to bring the bill because our server disappeared. We will never go there again.

    Sat on the hibachi side for dinner on a Saturday. It was so smoky and hot it was pretty uncomfortable. My eyes were burning the entire time. It was also VERY loud. I opted not to order hibachi (the rest of our 10-person party did) and got sushi and a salad. I can’t recommend a single thing that I ordered. The ginger dressing was overly sweet and the sushi was incredibly bland somehow while the ginger was just…off. I also didn’t get a refill the entire two hours we were there. The rest of the party got hibachi and said it just wasn’t great. As someone who generally just enjoys sushi and Japanese, this experience and location was disappointing. The positive takeaways are that our cook and waitress were great and they seem to be very allergy friendly.
