  929 is always amazing. I went for my birthday dinner with a party of 8. I recommend emailing them about larger parties and seeing if they can accommodate. They replied very quickly. The phones aren’t always picked up, so it was hard to contact them before sending an email. Food was amazing and our server Anna was very nice.

  What a great place to eat and enjoy your company you are with. Great atmosphere, such a cozy place. I’ve eaten at 929 twice now, and absolutely enjoyed each visit. Food is amazing and service is great.

  They have items that can be vegan. I enjoyed my meal. It was tasty and heat hot throughout my entire eating time. I had the Japchae with Tofu. It's like glass noodles but made with. Sweet potato. Delicious! Service was friendly and kind a little delayed but overall good. I would recommend for families that have different dietary needs amount them.

  We are a couple visiting from Europe, and after years of dining across France and other parts of Europe, we honestly struggled to understand this experience. Many of the dishes seem to rely on ingredients that are easily found in supermarkets — sausages, rice cakes, luncheon meat, other semi-processed products — simply reheated or lightly cooked, paired with a sauce, and then sold at a shockingly high price. This is difficult to justify. We have eaten Korean food in Korea, and neither the flavors nor the pricing resemble what is being offered here. The short ribs, in particular, were excessively sweet to the point of being unpleasant, and the portion was extremely small — four pieces of meat with a few vegetables for $35. That is simply unreasonable. To be fair, the dishes look nice. The plating is visually appealing. But beyond presentation, the food feels hollow: inexpensive ingredients, basic execution, and very little culinary depth. Style over substance. In the end, the two of us spent close to $100 before tip for what was essentially a very casual meal. This would be unthinkable in Europe. Even in central Paris, you would not pay this price for this level of quality or experience — ce n’est pas sérieux. Overall, we left disappointed and confused. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this place.
