Stopped in early on the weekend after Christmas so it wasn’t busy, but don’t let that fool you I understand this place can get crowded . Our experience was super starting off with them having lunch specials on the weekend. We both got the recommended stir fry lunch box. I had the spicy pork which turned out to be a little bit too spicy for me, but I’m a very bland kind of guy. My wife had the chicken and really liked it. If I was living nearby, I would be stopping by this place regularly. Highly recommended.

So, so, good. This is my favorite restaurant in the Columbia area. A small quaint place with unbelievable food. This is perfect for a casual night out or impressing your date. It can get busy but it is absolutely worth the wait.

I had an amazing experience at this little Korean spot with my flying partner. From the drinks to the food, everything was perfect. The waiter was fantastic please choose Jason, and the owner even came over to greet us, which was such a sweet touch. The food was full of bold flavors and spices each plate was delicious. The drinks were also tasty. As someone from New York, I’m pretty picky, but they truly nailed it. I highly recommend this place! Five stars all the way!

*** The rating is on the Food - Service and Ambiance was Good *** Premium prices with all the premium parts of Korean cuisine stripped away… I knew it wasn’t authentic but when I’m spending $20 on a dish that is normally $12-$15 I expect it to be elevated, not the diminished. 1. Stone Bowl Bi Bim Bap - was not sizzling which defeats the purpose of the stone bowl and is a real travesty. It needs to be really hot so the rice sticks to the bowl and gets crispy - if not, it just ends up being for decoration and makes your rice unnecessarily hot without the crucial crispy edges. I got the seafood which I do not recommend. The only fresh piece of seafood I got was one prawn, the rest are tiny cheap frozen seafood mix. But the biggest disappointment is it’s a sauced up seafood vegetable stirfry thrown on rice. The best part about bi bim bap is the fresh vegetables which there were none here. The wetness of the stirfry left no room for me to add the spicy sauce without it being a complete wet slop. 2. Ban Chan - they not only charge you for Korean side dishes which is typically free at Korean restaurants, it’s also only the 3 most basic side dishes available. Like I said - premium prices without the premium parts of Korean cuisine. 3. Korean fried chicken - Small pieces without the Korean fried chicken crunch and untossed. The crispy fried chicken well coated and tossed in sauce is one of the best qualities of Korean fried chicken. Sub par crisp with sauce on the side for me to dip is not it. Now the alright parts of the food which earned it a 2 star rather than 1 was the Crispy Rice Cake + Sausages - this was the best thing we ate there. If you’re drinking this is a must have. Goes perfect with alcohol especially beer. Truffle fries were pretty good too.
