  I’m from out of town, and in my 44 years, I’ve never experienced customer service like I did at this location. I placed an online order and then went through the drive-thru, where I was told to get out of line, wait, and then come back through. No big deal—I followed the instructions. When I returned, I was told to pull forward. Once I got to the window, the employee handed out both drinks and immediately shut the window—no greeting, no “thank you,” nothing. What really frustrated me, though, is that the drinks were clearly made incorrectly. One was supposed to have just 3 pumps of sugar, but it tasted like straight sugar water. It was undrinkable, and I ended up throwing both drinks away and going to Starbucks instead. After checking the reviews, it’s obvious this isn’t a one-time issue. That’s what makes it even more disappointing—why isn’t the local franchise addressing this? I hate to say it, but this experience was nothing like what I’m used to at Dunkin’ back home. I truly hope whatever is causing this level of service improves—for both the employees and future customers.

  Firstly, the Dunkin doesn’t even open until 8 am. How in the world does “America Run on Dunkin” in Columbia, SC when yall don’t even open until 8 when people are at work. Secondly, don’t stop at this location. The people working tethered have horrible attitudes. The less people who visit, the less money they’ll receive and eventually this location will close. Came here to get coffee. Placed a mobile order. Was told to get out of the line for 3-6 minutes and return. There were no other cars behind me and one at the window. I did what was asked anyway. I waited at the drive through a second time for about 5 minutes when the hateful woman asked me what I needed. I told her I was back to get my mobile order. She told me to pull forward. I get to the window. No hello. Go goodbye. Absolutely nothing. Just shoved the drinks in my direction and closed the window. I am going to pray for this woman. She obviously was having a bad morning and it wasn’t even 30 minutes into her shift.

  Door closed , no way to order inside and when I took the car and made a remark, they refused to serve me and send me away. Never ever in usa I have seen this

  I’m just glad Dutch Bros opened just a couple doors down. The service has always been…well not good, pretty terrible, but for the price and convenience I’ve just dealt with it. Coffee is typically ok at best. Today…definitely sealed the deal of me not returning, and urging anyone else to just a few yards down the road to Dutch Bros. My girlfriend and I got our usual orders, with the mobile app. We pull around and the person at the window is actually more rude than usual, hands us our drinks and food. I double check with my girlfriend that mine should have been a large, and she shows me the app where she ordered a large, so we sat at the window for…way to long waiting for the window server to come back. I informed them it should be a large…kinda snatched it out of my hand, ok whatever…goes back and dumps it into a large and adds espresso, etc to make it a large. Comes back to the window and just holds the drink out, looking pissed off…whatever got my drink and headed home. Put the straws in the drinks and they both taste TERRIBLE. I have no idea what they did to either of those coffees, but they were undrinkable. Poured both of them out and got coffee elsewhere. The only plus side is the food was pretty good as usual. We will thankfully be taking our business to Dutch Bros going forward. We frequent that Dunkin a few times a week…and are typically treated as an annoyance rather than a customer. I’d be happy if this location didn’t make it.

  I hesitate to give a bad review because this location always had the best service. The new owner who refers to herself as “the boss” her words exactly, is very rude and verbally aggressive. I felt as I was bothering her. No one else in the drive thru but I was told very forcefully to wait beyond the blue line since I put my order in too quick before coming. She brought it out to the car with a total look of disgust. Maybe because I’m white? Who knows. Of both coffees I order d were not drinkable. How is this location still open? Does anyone even care??
