  This is the absolute worst Chipotle out there. The employees all have a zero care attitude. The mobile orders are always a gigantic mess. It's not uncommon to have to wait 30+ minutes AFTER the pickup time on a mobile order. And the food quality is so inconsistent. I've had perfectly cooked meats and rice and then the next time the rice is crunchy and the meat dry and overcooked. One time the rice had so much salt in it that it was completely inedible. I've had to request refunds from the corporate website countless times to account for the screwups at this location. I've finally had it and will not spend any more money here until something changes.

  Another dirty Chipotle restaurants. Windows, floor, tables. Line was long and moved slow. Lots of standing around to get paid. Food was normal with stale chips. Hey corporate, where are your standards??

  This chipotle is okay at best. Not because of the food but because they are usually out of main dishes such as chicken or steak. I don’t know what the franchise owner is doing but they obviously are not properly prepared for the amount of demand in the area of Columbia, SC. If I wear the owner I would be pissed that they could serve chicken or steak often but this has been a regular issue while I have been a masters student here at UofSC. This place is okay as I said but it is not consistent or reliable. If you want either of those traits go elsewhere.

  I’m sure the Gervais Street Chipotle will be a place people can trust. People will have the confidence to approach this establishment knowing they can order in person, have all of their favorite chipotle items available, pay with cash or card, use the facilities, sit down at a clean table, and place their trash in a trash can that’s not overflowing. The Gervais street Chipotle seldom possesses any of those qualities, but I’m quite hopeful that they will get there one day! I don’t know what they are paying this locations managers- but I propose they get paid double their wage to never work in the food industry again. God bless you all fr

  I’ve been to the Chipotle on Gervais St. in Columbia multiple times, and unfortunately the only thing that seems guaranteed and consistent is poor, slow service. Every visit feels like a long wait, even when the store isn’t particularly busy. The line moves at a crawl, and it often seems like there’s little urgency from the staff to keep things moving. What makes the experience worse is that when you ask simple questions about your order, and the staff frequently respond with an attitude instead of helpful customer service. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing them just by ordering. Chipotle is usually known for quick, efficient service, but this location consistently misses the mark. I hope management takes a closer look at the customer experience here, because the food can be good but the service makes it hard to want to come back.
